Multimillionaire Poundland founder Steve Smith and his son Joe swap homes and lives with Jon and Kelly Deeming-Thomas and their five children. Jon and Kelly are both plasterers, but business plays second fiddle to family life, but they don't have a van or advertise their business and the debts are mounting. Meanwhile, Steve has enough money to sink the Titanic but hasn't always been present for son Joe and the swap is brilliantly poised for both families to learn lessons that could change their lives for ever.

Multimillionaire plumbing entrepreneurs Sam and Scott live in a £12m Westminster penthouse, but workaholic Scott recently had a near-fatal health scare. Plasterer Lee and gardener Laura live in a two-bed flat in Northolt, west London, with their three children, but the lack of space and financial struggles puts a huge strain on their relationship, so the couple have big hopes that the swap will solve their relationship problems and build Lee's confidence.

Multi-millionaire plumbing entrepreneurs Sam and Scott Mullins swap lives with Lee and Laura, another couple in the trades who live a very different life. Scott made his fortune helping dad Charlie grow Pimlico Plumbers into a £150 million company, which they sold in 2021. Their London pad is a £12 million Westminster penthouse with two private lifts that open straight into the main hallway. Oh, and there's also a £5 million Marbella villa, but things aren't as gilt-edged as they look. Last year, workaholic Scott had a near-fatal health scare. Blocked arteries were diagnosed, but Sam thinks it's down to stress, and her big hope for the swap week is that Scott will learn to slow down. Plasterer Lee and gardener Laura live across London in their two-bed, top-floor Northolt flat with their teenage son and twins, Sadie and Katie.

A single mum from Essex and her daughter swap homes with a millionaire entrepreneur who has made a fortune on Spain's Costa. Becky lives in the village of Hockley with her nine-year-old daughter Aimee, earning just above the minimum wage working as a trainee teacher, while home is a cramped terraced house. For one week Becky, Aimee and Nanny Bev travel to Spain to swap lives with Adam, his girlfriend Ebbe and his teenage son Jamie. Thirty-three-year-old entrepreneur Adam is another Essex native, but left Romford 15 years ago to set up as an estate agent in Alicante. His Spanish villa is on an exclusive golf course with a swimming pool and amazing views. Will Becky be tempted by a new life in the Spanish sun? Meanwhile, Adam teaches Jamie the real value of money by a week living on the breadline in budget Britain.

Matt and Danni run their own luxury mattress and bedding business and have created quite a life for their family, with home a sprawling country house, but Danni hopes living like the other half will help recalibrate their work-life balance. For Katie and her daughters home is a run-down three-bed in desperate need of updating, and Katie works four jobs to make ends meet, one of which is selling pre-loved clothes.

Millionaire owner of a packaging company Rachel and her husband swap lifestyles with struggling Lyndsay and her 21-year-old daughter Katie, who are both recovering from serious health issues. During the week Lyndsay and Katie take on the work of a successful CEO, while Rachel, Steve and Amelia adjust to a life of chores and cheap pleasures, with the swap proving life-changing for both sides.
