In the first episode of 3 op Reis, the journey begins with a two month journey from Amsterdam to Bhutan. The first host, Floortje, visits Ukraine, where she explores the capital city of Kiev and takes a look at Chernobyl. The second host, Sebastian, visits Croatia, which is closer to home. The third host, Jacqeline, visits Costa Reca, where she asses ecobestemming.

2. Ukraine - Turkey - Dominica

Floortje Dessing continues her journey from Amsterdam to Bhutan. In Ukraine, she visits the ghost towns surrounding Chernobyl and then journeys back on the train to the coastal town of Odessa. Sebastiaan Labrie experiences Istanbul, Turkey during Ramadan. Guest Presenter Arie Boomsma reviews Caribbean Dominica.

3. Black Sea - Hungary - Ibiza

Floortje Dessing is still en route from Amsterdam to Bhutan. In episode 3, she descends on a freighter on the Black Sea towards Georgia. Sebastian dives into the nightlife of Budapest. Guest Presenter Kluun visits Ibiza and discovers that the island is much more than just a party island.

4. Abkhazia - Isle of Man - Guadeloupe

Floortje this time is stopped in Abkhazia together with the aid organization HALO Trust withdraw from the country that is still suffering the consequences of the war of independence. Sebastian takes the boat to Valhalla Isle of Man. Guest this week is Cornald Maas and he reviews the Caribbean Guadeloupe.

Floortje discovers the tourist part of Abkhazia. Then she travels to Georgia. Sebastian enjoys one of the most beautiful islands in the world: Korcula. Traveler guest singer Hind goes back to the roots of fado in the atmospheric Lisbon.

Floortje is in the Georgian capital Tbilisi. She then travels to the Caucasus in the north of the country. It's not just a place for skiing, but also for enjoying the beautiful nature. Sebastian visits the ultimate backpacker location with treehouses in a camp on the Turkish coast. Presenter Froukje Jansen visits the fairytale Marrakech and stays in an old kasbah in Morocco.

7. Azerbaijan - Montenegro - Iceland

Floortje continues her journey from Amsterdam to Bhutan. Sebastian visits the beautiful Montenegro. He is surprised by the nature and the stunning Bay of Kotor. Horace Cohen is the traveler's guest this week. He travels to the cold Iceland.

8. Azerbaijan - Lithuania - Senegal

Floortje is in the Caucasus in the village Lahic, where she discovers the authentic Azerbaijan. She then moves on to the capital Baku. Sebastian gets on a bike and explores Lithuania. His visit includes the special religious site: Calvary. Rik is the guest traveler and is surprised by the hectic pace of the Senegalese capital and visits a project of the WWF.

9. Azerbaijan - Spain - Costa Rica

Floortje makes her final 'mandatory' visit in Azerbaijan and takes a look behind the tourist facade. She visits one of the most polluted places in the world where thousands of refugees also live. Sebastian goes to Spain. No costas this time, but white houses in the mountainous interior. Guest traveler, Susan Smit, visits the super green Costa Rica. Here's the reggae, surf and relax!

10. Turkmenistan - Montenegro - US

Floortje leaves Azerbaijan and gets on the boat to Turkmenistan. She discovers how big the impact actually been of former dictator Turkmenbashi. Sebastian goes to work on a traditional farm in the mountains of Montenegro. Guest Voyager Jeroen finds out how San Francisco is green!

11. Turkmenistan - Northern Ireland - Mali

Floortje continues her journey through Turkmenistan where the spirit of President Turkmenbashi still wanders everywhere. She is on her way to the capital Ashgabat, similar to Las Vegas. Sebastian visits Northern Ireland's Belfast and takes the Causeway Coastal along the rugged coast. Guest Rik visits Westelaken in Mali, one of the world's poorest countries.

12. Turkmenistan - Bulgaria - US

Floortje admires the special capital of Turkmenistan: Ashgabat. She visits a number of notable buildings and an ice palace in the middle of the desert! She then travels further to Iran. Sebastian visits the cheapest European capital of Sofia, Bulgaria! Guest Passenger Kurt Rogiers discovers the heart of the film industry in Hollywood.

13. Iran - Greece - Indonesia

Floortje in the fairytale Middle East. She is in the Iranian Yazd where she attends a special sport. Sebastian is in the Greek Athens. An impressive city where there is also plenty to do in the winter. Guest stars Eve and Tygo Gernandt travel to the Indonesian island of Lombok.

14. Iran - Latvia - Cuba

Floortje is still in the Middle East. She leaves for the city of Yazd and travels to Esfahan. Here she discovers modern Iran, and she sees what traces the bloody Iran-Iraq war. Sebastiaan is in Latvia. He resides in a real rock and roll town where he spends a terrifying night. Guest traveler Olivia Lewis visits Cuba where music predominates.

15. Iran - Spain - Thailand

Floortje leaves mainland Iran and takes a boat to the island of Qeshm. Here she visits a natural phenomenon. Sebastian is in southern Spain. He goes into the interior in search of an ancient cave culture. Guest Passenger Barbara de Loor is in Thailand where she visits a few special projects.

16. Dubai - Greece - Indonesia

Floortje take the boat from Iran to the decadent Dubai. A place where energy is large. They rest for a while, to then head towards Oman. Sebastian is in Greece. This time of the year is no holiday in the sun, but winter sports! He goes skiing in Athens. Guest Passenger Tygo Gernandt is in Bali, he visits the authentic inland.

17. Oman - Slovakia - Cuba

Floortje continues her journey through Oman. She takes the boat to a remote province in the north and imagines himself (sometimes almost) at the end of the world. Sebastian is in Eastern Europe. He goes to Slovakia looking for a cheap holiday. Guest Passenger Daniel Boissevain is in Cuba.

18. Oman - Canary Islands - Thailand

Floortje continues her journey through the Middle East and arrives in the Omani capital Muscat. From here she discovers both the oases and the desert. Sebastian is in the Canary Islands, not Tenerife and Gran Canaria, but the pristine La Gomera. Guest Voyager Nadja Hüpscher is visiting the Thai island of Koh Chang. Since her last visit it has changed very little.

19. India - Belgium - Brazil

Floortje starts working on the final part of her trip to Bhutan. From Oman she makes the journey to the hectic India. Then she takes the train to its final destination, Bhutan. Sebastian stays nice and close to home and visits the town of Leuven. Guest Voyager Boris van der Ham swapped Parliament for the East of Brazil.

Floortje has finally arrived at her final destination: Bhutan. From the border, she travels to the Northern town of Paro. Along the way she gazes with the splendor of this colorful country. Sebastian is in Hungary, where he visits the largest music festival in Europe. Seven days in Budapest dedicated to sex, drugs and rock & roll. Actress Marian Mudder visits the lesser known Laos.

21. Bhutan - France - Jordan

Floortje heads to the Bhutanese capital of Thimpu. Here she discovers that Bhutan is facing certain problems from the modern influences. Sebastian takes a trip to northern France, a region which is usually about beaten. Sebastian shows that even here the setting is beautiful. Traveler guest Ricky Koole goes to the Middle East where she visits the fairytale Jordan.

22. Bhutan - Canary Islands - Brazil

Floortje has reached the end of her long journey to Bhutan. Before this festive closing, she examines how the Bhutanese are dealing with sexuality. Sebastiaan Labrie visits the smallest and least-known Canary Island of El Hierro. Guest Traveler and former boxing champion Lucia Richer has discovered her very new sport: capoeira! She travels to Brazil for this.
