When a container of illegal weapons is broken into, Josh and Dom race to save the life of a security guard, who has a bomb strapped to her body, and attempt to find the men responsible. Lawson, Michael and Shannon deal with a disgruntled worker, who is holding his boss against his will.

When a group of students are lured into being drug mules, TR races to stop them, as Kerry warns Lawson he risks compromising a federal investigation.

When TR is called to a domestic dispute, Lawson connects with a young boy struggling to care for his drunken father; Michael discovers being a hero isn't all it seems.

When a family court judge is taken hostage by a disgruntled father, TR tries desperately for a peaceful resolution. As the situation escalates, Shannon is in a race to talk him down before Josh is forced to shoot him. While Lawson’s attempts to catch a killer are hampered by journalist Jacinta Burns.

During a routine cell extraction Dom and Stella are caught in a prison siege. As Shannon negotiates with the ringleader, she slips up admitting Dom and Stella are inside. When the situation escalates Lawson sends in Josh and the riot police. Meanwhile an accident throws Kerry a massive curve ball.

When an ex-newspaper editor causes a disturbance at Federation Square, Tactical Response tries to talk him down before he tragically falls to his death. A series of TAB robberies lead Tactical Response to link the incidents to a man attempting to settle a score. Meanwhile, struggling to deal with repercussions of the cyclist's death, Kerry leads Leon on a wild night out.

When teenagers blow up a series of parking pay stations, TR races to prevent them killing themselves and innocent bystanders.

TR is called to a domestic siege on the outskirts of Melbourne where they journey into dense bush to save a young boy. When Josh is shot, Lawson faces a dilemma in how to neutralise the boy. Meanwhile, Kerry receives the brief for the coronial inquest and must prepare to face the consequences of causing a cyclist’s death.

Stella's future in Tactical Response is threatened when she becomes involved in an illegal car race. Kerry faces the coronial inquest into the cyclist's death. Later, Boyd visits Kerry at home with a peace offering and Dom finds a creative solution to an unusual situation at a strip club where an out of control father demands to see his daughter.

Michael puts his life in danger when he goes against protocol taking on a group of robbers single-handedly. Tactical Response responds to a suspicious car tailing an armoured van. Michael goes against standard operating procedure taking on the robbers single-handedly. When the robbers discover their operation compromised, Michael finds his life in danger. Unable to hold back, Michael confesses his true feelings to Stella.

When John Welsh, an ex-SAS soldier robs a petrol station, TR join with a major crime squad to help bring him down. A drug-related story Jacinta is investigating ends up putting her life at risk. Lawson tries to protect her, but finds she is quite unwilling to accept his help.

When a baby is abducted Lawson races to find the kidnappers before the child's grandfather, a known criminal figure, finds them first. Meanwhile, a man threatens to jump from an apartment building after his girlfriend goes missing.

When a taxi driver assaults Shannon, Tactical Response links the incident to a spate of attacks against female passengers. As Tactical Response searches for the driver, Josh struggles to contain his anger. Tactical Response responds to a disturbance at a swinger's party only to discover the gatecrasher is a disabled woman. Meanwhile Lawson's love life takes a turn for the worse… or does it? He offers Shannon his spare room — will she shack up with her ex?

Lawson extracts an undercover operative from a drug syndicate only to discover she has crossed the line and is pregnant to a known criminal. Tactical Response races to track her down before her boyfriend discovers she is a cop. Lawson and Shannon negotiate the awkwardness of their personal and professional relationship.

Lawson, Shannon and Stella race to save the lives of college students when two teenagers go on a rampage at a college campus. Dom and Michael attend an armed robbery to find the gunman has been attacked by a security dog and is missing an ear. Josh, on suspension, visits Gabe, a psychologist to deal with his anger issues.

Stella is caught in the crossfire when an informant is removed from witness protection against his will. When the negotiation takes a turn for the worse, Stella has to deal with the consequences of Alana being taken hostage. Josh and Shannon stake out two hapless crooks who are planning an armed robbery. Michael delivers a baby and finds himself a changed man.

Michael and Josh clash when dealing with a delusional man. Tactical Response races to stop a woman murdering her husband. Meanwhile, Lawson and Jacinta renegotiate their relationship when Jacinta spends a day travelling with TR.

Lawson and Josh come to blows when Lawson discovers Josh's relationship with Shannon. Meanwhile, Tactical Response tracks an escaped criminal who Josh believes has been wrongly imprisoned. Lawson tries to locate an elderly couple who were seen scoring drugs and have left suicide notes for their children.

Lawson tries to save Caleb from a life of crime, only to discover it's already too late. Meanwhile, Dom's home life explodes when Sandrine's depression threatens to harm their baby.

A discussion about Kerry's birthday leads to a bet on who in the team will have sex with her. Meanwhile, Leon investigates a series of video store robberies, only to be caught in a robbery himself.

21. Episode 21

Aired: 11/26/2009

TR assists in the removal of underage girls from a community where reports have been made of inappropriate behavior. The situation turns serious when a member of the community hijacks a bus and demands the girls be released. When the hijack escalates, Lawson is forced into action with devastating consequences for the team when it is revealed one of them is responsible for the shooting of an innocent man. Stella clashes with Lawson as the team waits for the ballistic report.

Meanwhile Melbourne’s water supply is contaminated by a woman who believes fluoride in the water has killed her husband, and Michael’s faith is tested when he loses a large sum of money while swimming with two underage girls.
