11. Fairweather Friends

My Fair Lulu Angela is fed up with her baby sister Lulu. Not only did she cause Angela to get Poisen Ivy and miss showing off her Butterfly at All-Creatures-Great-And-Small-Week at school, but she scares her friends away and is always doing something to bug Angela. The final straw is when Lulu lets Angela's perfect butterfly out of it's containment unit and it flies out the window. Angela thinks having a baby sister is the worse thing ever. But Lulu saves the day and ends up helping Angela get the butterfly back. Angela sees that Baby Lulu can be and ally and takes her sister under her wing and shows her the fine art of throwing water balloons. At their older brothers expense of course. Johnny Doesn't Live Here Anymore According to Nonna and Nicky Abatti, Johnny and his parents are moving! At first all Angela and Gina can think about is Johnny's toys that he should leave for them. Until Nanette Manoir comes along announcing that she is throwing Johnny a going away party. Not to be outdone, Angela instantly announces her intent to throw Johnny a party. In the meanwhile Johnny finds out that he isn't really moving out of town but just to a hotel for a few days while his house is being fumigated. His Uncle Nicky convinces Johnny not to tell his friends the truth so that he can milk the attention he is getting from the girls. The day of the dueling parties comes and Uncle Nicky inadvertently lets the truth about Johnny's 'move' slip. Nanette abandons ship but Angela decides a party is still a party.

13. Hot Bob and Chocolate

Mapperson's Daughter Mapperson's Bakery is running a contest to find a new 'face' for the Mapperson's Bakery Delivery Truck. Angela is sure she is a shoe in until Johnny announces it to the entire school and soon everyone is vying for the title. Everyone except Gina Lash who believes it is the product that makes Mapperson's so special not all of the commercialism. Nanette is also in the running with her professionally done photographs and of course she and Angela spend their time trying to sabotage the others' efforts. The big day arrives and Mr. Mapperson makes the announcement. The new face for the truck is ... Gina Lash! Mr. Mapperson explains that Gina is his biggest customer and therefore a natural choice to represent Mapperson's Bakery. Big Ho Down Angela is totally embarrassed that her Dad, Bill is making her dance with him in the annual Father-Daughter Ho-Down. Even worse he is taking her shopping for Western Duds! At Spangley Jangles Western Shop they run in to Nanette and her Father, Howell, who have won the Father-Daughter Ho-Down for the last two years. Howell makes some snide remarks about the Anacondas and Angela's ability to dance which infuriate Bill who then challenges Howell to a Ho-Down Show-Down! Both teams practice every waking hour before the big night but in the end Howell's many bribes pay off and the Manoirs win the Ho-Down for the third year in a row. Too bad for the Manoirs Bill has played a trick of his own which involves his two-way-super-sticky-tape and the insides of the Manoirs cowboy hats!

15. The Dog Ate It

Angela Who? A series of events in the Anaconda household lead Angela to believe that she is not a real Anaconda and must be adopted. Angela goes on a mission to discover her true identity and her real family. She follows up any clue she can and considers everyone she knows as potential relatives. Unfortunately all of the clues lead to only one conclusion - she must be a Manoir! Angela imagines what it would be like to be Nanette's sister and it is all too unbearable. Thankfully the Anacondas show up just in the nick of time and prove to Angela that Angela really is an Anaconda albeit a uniquely special one. Rockabye Abatti Angela hasn't had a good night sleep all week. Her brothers and baby sister keep making noise that keeps her awake. When Johnny announces that he has new race-car bunk beds and is having his first sleepover Angela jumps at the chance and volunteers to be the first to sleep over. Angela packs her bag that weekend with the hopes of getting a glorious night's sleep. Angela has a great time at the Abatti's that night until it is time to go to bed. Johnny snores and makes all kinds of unmentionable sounds in his sleep and worse of all keeps a night light on. Uncle Nicky can be heard talking in his sleep and Johnny's Nonna snores so loud the whole house shakes. When her family comes to pick her up the morning she has fallen into a deep sleep and they can't wake her up. Everyone comments on how loud Angela's snoring is and how it is impossible to sleep with her around.

16. Pizza Wars

Aired: 10/25/1999

Green With Envy? Angela is so excited about wearing her new 'highway-worker-orange' windbreaker to school she completely forgets that it is St. Patrick's day. According to Tapwater Springs' tradition you can pinch anyone not wearing green and when Angela arrives at school that morning everyone in her class can hardly wait until recess time to take advantage of Angela's forgetfulness. Angela tries everything she can to get out of recess including trying to get herself in trouble. At the last minute Angela realizes that her new windbreaker is reversible and that the other side is 'frozen pea' green! She triumphantly marches out of the classroom only to be immediately pinched by none other than Nanette. Too bad for Ninnie-Poo, the Tapwater Springs' tradition also state that anyone who does pinch someone who is wearing green gets 'double pinch' backs! Two Can Play Mrs. Brinks is handing out parts to the school play "Miss Etiquette - the musical" and of course Nanette gets chosen for the lead role. Much to Angela's dismay she gets chosen to be Nanette's understudy. Angela refuses to learn the role on account of Nanette would never miss her chance to be a star. When Nanette starts feeling ill Angela gives her a power smoothie guaranteed to fight of any cold. Unfortunately Nanette feels no better and on opening night does not show up. Angela is forced to take the stage in her place. At the last minute Nanette shows up and pushes Angela off the stage. Angela decides to give Nanette a lesson in manners by dropping the curtain before Nanette can take her bows.

17. Hard To Swallow

Aired: 10/26/1999

Cut to the Chase When Angela's Dad gives her a bad haircut right she takes her brother's autographed baseball hat without his permission. Angela wears the hat to school the next day but Mrs. Brinks confiscates it when Nanette points out the rule about wearing hats during school hours. Angela tries to get the hat back during Mrs. Brinks 'golden star auction' of confiscated items but Nanette acquires the hat by outbidding Angela with one more golden star. Angela has to bargain with Nanette to get the hat back which sets of a series of deals that Angela must make with her friends in order to get the rhinestone dog collar that Nanette is demanding as compensation for the hat. In the end Angela gets the hat back but also gets grounded and Nanette's dog ends up with a rash from the fake rhinestone collar. Dirty Work Angela is excited that it is finally her turn to work in the school store. Johnny Abatti is to be the manager and Angela the helper. Angela has a great day in the story and basically takes over Johnny's job without him even realizing it. The following day however Johnny is home sick and of course Mrs. Brinks assigns Nanette to the job of manager. For the rest of the week Angela has to do everything Nanette tells her to do, like scrubbing floors and counting paper clips. When 33 cents goes missing from the till Nanette is quick to blame Angela and Mrs. Brinks is quick to agree. It is discovered later that Nanette actually lent the money to Mrs. Brinks to buy a stamp. Mrs. Brinks is very embarrassed by her mistake and offers to make it up to Angela. Angela becomes the manager and has Nanette at her beck and call.

18. Super Mom / Skipping Lessons

Aired: 10/27/1999

Super Mom Angela's Mom starts to feel guilty when she sees that her passion for her artwork often distracts her from her motherly duties. Geneva promises to turn over a new leaf effective immediately. The next morning there are eggs and school lunches packed. Angela thinks this is great - at first. Gen begins to become obsesses with being the 'perfect' mother and having the 'perfect' tidy house...and the 'perfect' family. Angela starts feeling like she is living in one of those cheesy seventy's sitcoms! It is the last straw when Gen tries to get Angela to dress like Nanette! Angela tells her Mom that she wants the 'old Mom' back and Gen is totally relieved. It turns out that she has been miserable with her new 'perfect' life. Skipping Lessons Angela is delighted when all of Mrs. Brinks letters of commendation to the School Board about Nanette culminate in the School Board advancing Nanette to the Fourth Grade! Mrs. Brinks is devastated by the loss of her prize pupil and in her vulnerable state she transfers all of her previous affections for Nanette onto none other than Angela. At first Angela is in her glee after all teachers pets get away with everything! Soon however Brinks' attention becomes overwhelming and she begins following Angela everywhere - even to the treehouse. Thankfully Nanette is not doing so well in the Fourth Grade popularity polls and decides to return to Mrs. Brinks' Third Grade class. At first Angela is disappointed but then she realizes that although she is gaining a Ninnie-Poo she is also losing the clingy Mrs. Brinks.

19. View to a Brinks / Injury to Insult

Aired: 10/28/1999

View to a Brinks Gina can hardly contain herself - she just witnessed Mr. Brinks coming out of the sporting goods store with Badminton Rackets. The kids know what that means - NAKED BADMINTON! They rush to their treehouse only to find that they can't see far enough into the Brinks yard to get a good look. There is only one thing to do - build higher. The kids go to exhaustive lengths to build the treehouse high enough to get a good view but they can only see the shuttlecock going back and forth over the net. When Nanette looks out of her bedroom window and sees the treehouse she is disgusted by the fact that it is blocking her scenic view of Tapwater Springs and orders Alfredo to tear it down immediately. The kids are desperate now to see the Brinks before Nanette ruins everything. Quickly Gina comes up with a new plan that allows all of them to get the birds eye view they've been waiting for - unfortunately! Injury to Insult When Angela comes down with a case of Pink Eye her Mom tries to make her feel better by making her a black eye patch just like pirates wear. Angela is excited to wear her new eye patch to school and revels in the attention it brings from the entire class - including Mrs. Brinks. Nanette is not at all happy with Angela's new found popularity and the next day shows up to school in a wheel chair claiming that Angela stepped on and crushed her dancing toe. Now all of the attention is once again on Nanette and Mrs. Brinks orders Angela to be Nanette's personal assistant since it was Angela's fault in the first place. Angela knows Nanette is faking but she just can't prove it, no matter how hard she tries. Finally Nanette is exposes as the fake she is but of course Mrs. Brinks just claims Nanette to be a 'miracle child'.

20. The Martyrdom of Saint Nanette / The Crossing

Aired: 10/29/1999

The Martyrdom of Saint Nanette After Josephine tells the class about Ash Wednesday, Nanette, wanting her memory to live on for eternity, suggests that the entire class participate in sacrificing something for forty days. Angela decides that she will stop imagining things about other people. In other words, stop fantasizing about revenging Nanette. And Nanette takes a vow of poverty, which includes giving up her chauffeured town car, fine cuisine, and of course her magnificent wardrobe. Angela is really put to the test when Nanette enters wearing her signature orange dress, claiming that it isn't easy wearing 'tasteless clothes'. It isn't long before Angela discovers that Nanette is not keeping true to her vow of poverty. She tells Mrs. Brinks that she spotted Nanette sitting down to an elaborate feast, but Mrs. Brinks is quick to point out that Angela promised that she would not let her imagination get the better of her, and dismisses Angela's claims. On her way back to her desk, a jar of caviar falls from Nanette's pocket, ensuring Angela that this day will most definitely live on for eternity! The Crossing Sherman, the class chick, escapes from his box, and Angela convinces Ms. Jenerette, the school crossing guard, to leave her post and stop the chicken from crossing the road. By doing so, Nanette ends up being late for her salon appointment, and as a result, Mrs. Manior gets the beloved crossing guard fired. Angela feels terrible and assists Ms. Jenerette on her next set of jobs, but each time she lends a hand, something goes awry and Ms. Jenerette is continually fired. In the meantime, Mrs. Manior sets up a traffic light to replace Ms. Jenerette, but when the light changes while Nanette is in the middle of the cross walk, it is Ms. Jenerette who is there to save her. Ms. Jenerette is awarded her job back, and at the suggestion of Angela, a pay raise!

21. Labor Pains / Cyrano D'Angela

Aired: 11/1/1999

Labor Pains Angela learns that everyone receives a higher allowance then she does. Her friends explain that in order to get more money Angela must do more work around the house. With great determination, and much to the surprise of her family, Angela does extra chores without being asked. At allowance time, Angela is only awarded with an extra fifty cents! Gina, being quite knowledgeable in labor relations, suggests that she go on strike. Angela enlists the help of her friends and they picket the Anaconda house, but the strike fails miserably. Angela's parents don't take it seriously, her brother's become scabs and even Gina crosses the picket line. Just when Angela has had enough she notices her parents handing Gina money! The anger quickly dissolves though when Gina reveals she successfully negotiated Angela a new allowance contract, complete with pay raise! Cyrano D'Angela Angela happens upon Gordy, who is in a funk because Gina has a new boyfriend and it isn't him. Her heart seemingly belongs to Jimmy Jamal. Angela is quick to volunteer herself as matchmaker. She sets Gordy off on various schemes designed to win Gina's favour, but each of Gordy's prove unsuccessful. All hope seems lost until Angela discovers that Gina and Jimmy's affair is based on...Jimmy's lunch! Angela convinces Gordy that the only thing left to do is to tell Gina how he really feels. Gina informs them both that love and lunch are the same thing and nobody brings yummier food to school then Jimmy. Gina's love for Jimmy is here to stay. Angela is filled with guilt. None of her advice has worked and Gordy is probably destined to a life of solitude. Luckily, Gina learns an awful truth-Jimmy doesn't like dessert. Angela reminds Gina that Gordy loves desserts and the two unrequited lovers find their way to a comfy place to eat.

22. Crazed and Confused / Strange Bedfellows

Aired: 11/2/1999

Crazed and Confused 'Babble Balls' were all the rage- until Angela had enough money buy one. As she proudly shows off her new toy, Nanette informs her that 'Babble Balls' are passé, and 'Bug Thugs' are now "da bomb". Denying her desire to obtain a 'Bug Thug', even to her best friend Gina Lash, Angela scrapes together every cent she can, and heads off to the toy store to buy one. But when she arrives, she discovers that Nanette has bought every last 'Bug Thug' in town, and Angela must resort to trickery to try and get her hands on one of the toys so that she too can join the illustrious Bug Thug Club. When her efforts are futile, Angela imagines that she is a super hero, and crashes a 'Bug Thug Club' gathering saving all from the Evil Nincom-pupae and her Bug Thug reign! In the end, Nanette neglects her 'Bug Thug' announcing that Rainblow Sparkle Gum is now 'in' as she blows a giant bubble that bursts into a sticky mess all over her face! Strange Bedfellows Grandma Lou arrives at the Anaconda's for a surprise visit, and Angela goes to great lengths to ensure they get to room together. Angela looks forward to hearing the tales Grandma Lou loves to tell about her days in the swamp. Even Angela's friends find Grandma Lou and her stories enthralling, but they don't have to live with her! Eventually Angela finds that her stories are boring, Grandma Lou has taken to snoring, and Angela winds up face to face with Grandma Lou's detachable leg. Angela's dream roommate turns out to be a nightmare. She attempts to have Grandma Lou moved to another room but Baby LuLu's illness thwarts that idea. Just as Angela's patience sinks to its lowest levels, Grandma Lou announces she is going back to the swamps where she belongs. Angela knows she will miss her Grandma dearly but that absence will only make the heart grow fonder.

23. Everybody Loves Gina / Halls of Justice

Aired: 11/3/1999

Everybody Loves Gina Angela and Gina plan for a fabulous sleepover. Devious delights are happily agreed upon until Angela's brothers remind her just how obnoxious they truly are. Angela considers calling the whole thing off when Liz Lash and her new boy toy, Francisco, promptly drop Gina off at the Anaconda's. Gina immediately charms Mark and Derek with a peace offering of sorts. Soon, the whole Anaconda family is under Gina's spell as she appears to be funnier, more polite and simply nicer than Angela could ever be. Angela is jealous! Things only get worse when Gina extends her sleepover at the Anaconda residence for another two weeks. When a carnival is thrown to celebrate Gina's extended stay, Angela tries to get mad but is unable to sustain any ill will towards her best friend. Eventually, Gina gets bored of Angela's family and the carnival. The two friends find their way back into each other's hearts and partake in the cheeky fun they had planned in the beginning. Halls of Justice Distracted by an orange sash and delusions of grandeur, Angela volunteers for the prestigious position of school hall monitor-without knowing the positions drawbacks. She must miss all recesses and soon, Angela is forced to croak out orders to fellow classmates. Angela's new life seems doomed until she catches Nanette littering. Angela immediately gives Nanette a violation ticket and becomes a heroine amongst her friends. Nanette vows revenge and Angela is forced into snitching on everyone and assigning them all tickets. Eventually, everyone despises Angela and her snitching ways - except Mrs. Brinks! She is so impressed with Angela that she leaves her in charge of the class for one day. Desperate to get fired from her new position and regain her good name, Angela allows the class to misbehave and is quickly let go. Meanwhile, Nanette is given the position of hall monitor, and all the disadvantages that go along with it!

24. Cabin Fever / Don't Over-Due It

Cabin Fever Angela decides that she has had enough of clapping erasers and she yearns to never return to school again. Enter Mrs. Praline, Josephine's mother, who has agoraphobia, which means she never leaves her house. Angela decides that agoraphobia is the answer to all her problems and instantly diagnoses herself with the ailment. Bill and Geneva are quite concerned with their daughter's predicament and battle the agoraphobic symptoms head on. Not only is Angela kept home from school, she is also kept indoors, away from her friends...forever! Angela is forced to find amusement with Lulu and worse yet, her brothers. Yet none of the Anaconda's can find time for Angela and she must entertain herself. Faced with eternal boredom, Angela admits that she faked the agoraphobia, and returns to school, which by now couldn't please her more! Don't Over-Due It It's library amnesty day at Tapwater Elementary School. In order to avoid expensive fines, everyone returns their overdue books. Angela is proud of the fact that she always returns books on time...or so she thinks! While reading her favourite "Happy Hoppy Bunny" book, Angela realizes the book is library property and she has had it since kindergarten. By now, amnesty day is over and huge library fines loom in Angela's future. Angela enlists the aid of her friends to find ways to avoid the fines. They try many forms of trickery that all end in failure. Nanette quickly catches on to Angela's dilemma and tattles on her. Angela concludes that the only solution is to hide the evidence. Only she finds that she can't hide from the truth. She is caught clutching her copy of "Happy Hoppy Bunny", which, her mother points out, was bought and paid for at a library book sale! Angela was right all along. She never had an overdue library book and Nanette is punished for suggesting otherwise.

25. Kar-Lean On Me / Slice of Life

Aired: 11/5/1999

Kar-Lean On Me Angela begins the school day by having her newest cereal toy confiscated by Mrs. Brinks. The day seems to be like any other typical school day. That is until Karlene reveals that she and Nanette had a falling out over a less than fashionable fur hat. Karlene turns to Angela and pals for solace. Angela is hesitant to offer Karlene comfort but eventually warms up to her charms. Soon Karlene appears to be less like Nanette, and more like Angela. Angela is so sure Karlene has changed, she shares her secrets. Angela's theory is quickly disproved as Karlene betrays Angela's confidence to none other then Nanette Manior. Backstabbing and fashion reunite Karlene and Nanette while Angela is left with nothing but the fake fur hat on her head. Despite all that has happened, Angela gets the last laugh and teaches Karlene a thing or two about friendship and economics. Slice of Life Upon hearing an annoying, but rather catchy jingle for the county fair, Johnny's Uncle Nicky decides to shoot a commercial for Abatti's Pizza. Angela and Gina are convinced they are shoe-ins, and go to great lengths to secure their roles. They even go as far as hiring the always dramatic Gordy as their acting coach, who deprives them of pizza in order to get a convincing performance. Hearing the news, nasty Nanette Manior steals their spotlight (literally) bumping Angela and Gina out of the lead. Unfortunately, Uncle Nicky takes a liking to Nanette and her star qualities, but it is Nonna who decides the final edit. Angela and Gina arrive at the premiere destined for disappointment, until they see that Nanette has been cut from the commercial, and replaced by none other than Angela, Gina and Nonna herself!

26. The Nanette Lock / Gordy Floats

Aired: 11/8/1999

The Nanette Lock While playing on the swing set in the schoolyard, Angela invents a cool new way to swing! She locks arms and legs with Gina and they swing together in rhythm. Nanette walks through the playground just as they are demonstrating this new swinging innovation, and decides to take credit for the technique by naming it the "Nanette Lock". Angela is determined to set the record straight by proving to everyone that the invention was hers to begin with, but her only witnesses are discredited by none other than nannoying Nanette Manior. Quick to praise her stellar 'inventor' student, Mrs. Brinks rushes to the playground to attempt the "Nanette Lock" herself, but the weight of her- ample figure causes the swing to detach from the swing set and sends Mrs. Brinks plummeting to the ground! Seeing the fire in Brinks' eyes, Nanette blurts out the truth about the swinging invention. Angela is so happy to finally receive the credit she deserves, she doesn't even mind clapping erasers! Gordy Floats It is spring, and Gordy can't wait to win first prize in the 'Spring into Spring' float making competition like he has every year. But this year, Nanette is entering with a float made from a real live fire truck and it's filled with French roses imported from France. Angela, Gina and Johnny agree to band together to defeat Nanette in her ploy to be the first to overtake the reining 'Spring into Spring' champion. Although their intentions were good, Gordy's float turns out to be a gondola full of garbage and old tube socks, and Angela feels she is the one to blame. Just as the judges are about to award Nanette first prize, Gordy shows up with a red wagon carrying a solitary red rose bud in a vase. The judges erupt with compliments and decide that the simplicity and sheer beauty of Gordy's float is worthy of first prize!
