1. The Funeral

The team's longtime coach, Josef Hnátek, passes away. The club must resolve two very delicate matters: who will be the new coach, and how to honor Hnátek's wish that his ashes be scattered across the field...

2. Recruitment

Aired: 9/13/2010

One of the players is unexpectedly injured while mowing the field. Unfortunately, there’s no one to replace him. The new coach, Jirka Luňák, has only ten players available for the next game, and soccer is played with eleven. Club officials decide to do a little local scouting. The showcase of local talent surprises them—and us—as well.

3. The Fan

A girl named Ilonka begins to show up regularly at practices and games, and over time, the soccer players come to regard her as their die-hard fan. Thanks to her presence, the Slavoj team stops scoring points, which upsets the entire club management.

4. Nutmeg

Slavoj Houslice’s best player, Jarda Kužel, hasn’t played in a long time. He’s been plagued by terrible nightmares, which have caused him to avoid both soccer and his friends. Will Kužel overcome his fear?

5. The Slot Machine

Treasurer Ludvík Hovorka is, unfortunately, a gambler. When it is discovered under dramatic circumstances that most of the money—not only the Hovorkas’ but also the club’s—has ended up in the slot machines at the local bar, it’s time for decisive action...

6. Lucy

In addition to coaching Slavoje Houslice, Jirka Luňák is proud of his daughter Lucy, who plays football for Sparta Prague. She doesn’t come home very often, though, since she lives there. This time, Lucy is coming to visit and will share some news with Jirka that will drastically change his life.

7. The Football

It’s game day against AS Hlístky. And Hlístky prides itself on having a well-organized defense, so it’s not easy to score against them. How will Slavoj handle this tactically? And will goalkeeper Kája Vachopulos finally get to take that long-awaited penalty kick?

8. The Meeting

Half the season is over, and Slavoj is holding onto a solid second-place position in the District League. It’s time for the traditional season-wrap-up party, where there will be drinking and dancing, and where the best player of the past season will also be announced. The presence of a reporter from a regional newspaper will spark a heated debate over who deserves the title.

10. Springtime

Spring is coming. In addition to the Slavo's jplayers resuming their league matches, spring will also bring changes for club president Václav Orel and Antonie Hnátková.

11. The Convoy

Slavoj is playing a game in Újezd. But because of Adolf Větvička, the team bus breaks down. The Slavoj players will have to find another way to get there in time for the game...

12. Love

Player-coach Jirka Luňák discovers that there’s a disruptive element on the team. Two of Slavoj’s players have fallen in love with each other and are secretly meeting up. Sure, he doesn’t mind gay people, but first of all, they shouldn’t be on his team! And secondly, one of them shouldn’t be his brother-in-law...

13. The Inseminator

Adolf Větvička is dating Ilona. And besides dating Ilona, he’s also dating Dr. Slepičková from the center. And Janča from the grocery store. What will happen if someone in his harem gets pregnant? Will at least the right person get pregnant?

14. The Derby

Slavoj Houslice is playing a do-or-die match against its longtime rival, SK Kostomlaty. Regional officials are sending the worst referee available to officiate this highly charged derby. Not only is he a terrible referee, but he’s also allergic to vaginal descriptions...

15. The Wedding

The club president Orel and Antonie Hnátková announce their wedding. For the first time in its history, Slavoj Houslice advances to the Regional League—and with two rounds still left in the season! Everyone should be happy, but they aren’t. They discover that Slavoj’s very existence is hanging by a thread and that Václav and Antonie’s wedding could turn into (yet another) funeral.

16. A Regional Visit

Slavoj is getting ready for its first game in the regional league. Everyone should be celebrating. But Slavoj Houslice isn’t the same team it used to be. The president Orel is no longer the president, and he’s even turned his back on football, to the point that he’s avoiding his friends. Ludvík Hovorka has become the new president, which is by no means a win. On top of that, an inspector from the regional commitee is coming to check the team’s readiness for the new season. Will anyone be able to avert the looming fiasco?
