Police officer CHIU CHIN-LUNG disguises as a hawker to catch the felon and meets a newspaper reporter TONG CHING. FONG CHUN-LONG, the son of the owner of WONDERFUL HARBOR VIEW HOTEL, FONG KWOK-KEUNG is being kidnapped. The ringleader TAI BO allies with the other kidnappers and his cousin, TAI SIU-NAM who works at WONDERFUL as a bellboy to commit the crime. Since lots of police appear at the village, BO asks NAM to carry LONG away as they have knocked him out. Unexpectedly, NAM brings LONG to WONDERFUL. LUNG also steps into WONDERFUL as to buy some egg tarts for his mother, KWOK WING-MUI. YIK CHO-ON claims to be a jeweler and gets to know a jewelry auction seller, TSUI FOOK-SANG together with CHIN KA-YIN and her husband. Indeed, ON and WONG KAR-YUE are a couple of thieves.… ...

After finished bathing, the compensated-dating girl KA is about to fool around with SANG. SANG suddenly receives a call from his wife and they end up fighting with each other… ON is trapped outside the balcony. YUE wears the protective clothing and suddenly appears to claim that the guests on that floor need to be isolated for disinfection since they are infected with influenza. After YUE has sent away SANG and his wife, a group of officers in protective clothing arrive unexpectedly and announce that they have to impose a blockade of the hotel… YUE and part of the guests attempt to break through the police blockade. Yet ON goes against her and convinces everybody to accept the isolation for seven days. LUNG calls up his superior CHEUK KEI to inform him that he suspects the kidnappers and the hostage are hiding in the hotel. NAM informs BO and due to the isolation, BO is unable to hand over the hostage.… ...

CHUN-FAI arranges SANG and his wife to put their jewels in the vault of the hotel. He also assigns rooms for the other guests as well. ON and LUNG happen to become roommates. As to avoid exposing his identity, LUNG claims that he is a fitness coach. CHING mistakes her roommate, KA as a successful businesswoman in the beauty industry. When NAM tries to find out the situation of LONG, he finds that the power of the sleeping pill has gradually withdrawn. NAM tries out the pills in person and puts himself in a semi-sleep state… FU complains that his roommate ALI has silted up the toilet. NAM rushes there to check on it and carelessly gets his head stuck in the toilet… When LUNG is in the workroom of CHAN, he finds that CHAN has collected lots of newspaper clippings about how KEUNG has become rich. On the second day of the quarantine, ON indicates to FAI that he wants to put the jewels inside the vault.… ...

HO-YAN hopes to find a wealthy Mr. Right during the quarantine and has a favorable impression towards ON who claims himself to be a jeweler. On the other hand, YUE disguises as a bank staff to approach NG HO… LUNG finds that CHAN has taken lots of food for the kids from the hotel and affirms he is going to feed LONG. ON asks YAN to find out the situation about HO as he prepares to jump off the building. On the other hand, YUE goes to the security room and tries to steal the video of the vault. ON meets YUE to share their achievement and bumps into FU and TING to come for a tryst… LUNG and CHING go to the personnel department to peep through the personal data of CHAN. Surprisingly, no other information is filled besides his name. The only information found is the column of referee is filled with a name JAMES TAO. At the same time, when CHAN repairs the computer, he is shocked to find that someone has deliberately made it fire.

The hotel food is suspected to be infected, all the guests can only take some ordinary lunch boxes and YIN is greatly disaffected about it. YUE suspects that she is pregnant and starts thinking about her future with ON… LUNG indicates to the colleague of CHAN that he suspects CHAN is his lost father and subsequently enquires about his personality and background. LUNG brings CHING to try and save the hostage but both of them are stranded in the refrigerated room. They start talking about their family backgrounds and CHING feels sorry that his father was killed while on duty. The pilot RONALD COPPER is unemployed and divorced. When RONALD is trying to commit suicide, ON and the others manage to find him in time. They comfort him and successfully make him face his life optimistically. ON suggests the guests to throw a party for fun but he quietly prepares to have candle light dinner with YUE instead.… ...

With the martial skill of CHAN, LUNG and CHING think that he is definitely not an ordinary technician. LUNG meets YUE while he is deep in thought at the roof. LUNG is overwhelmed when YUE kisses and slaps him without demur. While NAM is taking care of LONG inside the room, his colleagues KWOK CHI-WAI and YIP CHUI-LING come in for a tryst. NAM then realizes that WAI is the one who spreads around the uncanny affairs about the room. NAM worries that the hiding of the hostage may be exposed; he then creates some oddities and scares WAI and LING to death… According to the plan, YUE helps ON to sneak into the vault. YIN claims that she has lost a valuable necklace and assumes that it has something to do with LUNG. While avoiding the body search from the securities, LUNG hides inside a storeroom. A mysterious person stuns him and steals away his police gun.… ...

YUE does not understand why ON is so fond of the “PRETORIA’S STAR”. This yellow diamond has originally involved with a story that perished and scattered his family twenty-five years ago. When NAM is back to the storeroom, he is shocked to see that LONG is awake. NAM acts like a hero again as to pacify LONG. Unexpectedly, when NAM turns around and finds that LONG is trying to escape… On the third day of the quarantine, ON is suspicious of CHAN and therefore also goes to test him. ON finds that CHAN has the talent of martial arts. When shooting a video of LONG, NAM purposely plays some tricks in order to mislead KEUNG and his wife to think that their beloved son is being kept on a ship. ON finds that FU seems to have an extraordinary relationship with CHAN. He also finds out that FU is the referee who has introduced CHAN to get the job. ON suspects that LUNG and CHAN are from the same gang.… ...

CHING uncharacteristically gives praise to CHAN and thinks that LUNG should investigate his roommate ON instead. The guest, YIU DAN and FU are attracted to each other. Using this opportunity, LUNG goes to his room and search wantonly. He finds that FU and KEUNG seem to have certain affectionate relationship. Also, there is a picture that he has taken together with LONG… LUNG and CHING investigate the hotel female guests as to find out who is the accomplice of FU and TING is most suspicious. LUNG knows that FU has some improper ambition towards DAN and decides to corrupt her as to steal away his phone. TING is not happy that FU falls for DAN. Apart from aiming at DAN, TING also gives FU a hard time. ON mentions to YAN that TING keeps bothering him and hopes that YAN can help to turn down her love.… ...

When FU finds that he has lost his phone, he immediately gets the securities to come and help… NAM puts LONG into the trash and prepares to move him away. Yet he bumps into KA when she cannot find the swimming pool. NAM finds that the exit is locked and tries to report it to BO. Yet NAM finds that his phone with the picture of the hostage in it is lost. ON investigates FU and recognizes a man from one of the pictures is the one who has framed his father up in the past. ON then assures that the lost of “PRETORIA’S STAR” has something to do with FU… DAN approaches LUNG for help and admits that she needs money urgently. DAN is willing to help and steal the phone again… CHAN stops NAM when he wants to borrow some money from YUK-FUN as to redeem his phone. FAI is not happy to see that YAN and TING argue in the public and wants to give her a lesson. Unexpectedly, YAN thinks that she has got ON as her Mr.… ...

10. Episode 10

No matter how hard NAM tries, he fails to get five thousand dollars to redeem his phone. NAM painfully finds out that he is fooled by KA and ends up knocking her out accidentally… ON finds out the relationship between FU and KEUNG, he then assumes that the PRETORIA’S STAR is being kept inside KEUNG’s office. Although ON and YUE has found the necklace, the yellow diamond is no longer there. On the fifth day of the quarantine, SANG is obsessed with DAN. Yet DAN asks for an exorbitant price and it scares SANG away. SANG approaches KA again but unexpectedly YIN brings along some rich women to catch the adulterers… ON and YUE find out that the PRETORIA’S STAR is placed on the SPA floor. They fail to get the yellow diamond since someone has suddenly ruined their operation. CHAN gives CHING a book with the art of boxing and starts teaching her about it. CHING feels like regaining some fatherly love.… ...

LUNG has fainted inside the sauna room. Luckily CHING is looking for LUNG and reaches there. CHAN helps to break in and save his life. YUE is dissatisfied with what ON has done and he turns around to question YUE about her particular concern for LUNG. CHAN reveals to LUNG that he is an ex-convict. With the help from FU and KEUNG, he then gets a job at the hotel. LUNG decides to cooperate with CHAN and CHAN reminds him and CHING to beware of ON. FU indicates to ON that he knows nothing about the accident that has taken place on the SPA floor. Yet afterward FU meets FAI for a conversation on that floor and it makes ON assure that FU is the one who has stolen the yellow diamond. Originally CHAN also witnesses the process when they met… LUNG and CHAN successfully find out the contents of cooperation between FU and FAI.… ...

LONG wastes food while taking his meal and KA imparts him the correct knowledge. NAM finds KA is just like an angel. When KEUNG hands over the ransom, KEI brings along his subordinates in coordination with the operation. Although KEI and his team have set a tight encirclement, unexpectedly the ransom is being swapped half way through. Recalling the behaviors of NAM, CHAN mentions to LUNG and CHING about these questionable points. They decide to monitor NAM and unexpectedly their conversation is overheard by KA. KA plays a trick and drives everyone away… ON asks YUE to withdraw five million dollars from their fund as to buy his beloved yacht but surprisingly YUE declines it. Two people part on bad terms.… ...

13. Episode 13

ON finds YAN is half drunk alone on the roof and gets to know that she is so worried about losing his family treasure. ON laughs and points out that the yellow diamond is a counterfeit. CHING accidentally drops her voice pen and KA picks it up. In the morning on the sixth day of the quarantine, the guests become very agitated. They are shocked that the newspaper has vividly described about the hotel situation with some distorted reports and their scandals are being fully revealed. YIN forces FAI to find out the betrayer and he claims that NAM is highly suspect. While pulling around with each other, NAM drops a voice pen and becomes speechless. LUNG decides to follow NAM but his action is spoiled by KA. LUNG takes a break at the swimming pool and mistakes that YUE has an accident. Regardless of his own safety, LUNG jumps into the swimming pool to rescue YUE.… ...

14. Episode 14

KEUNG is extremely nervous when he finds a note written by LONG from the warehouse. He believes his son is truly stranded by the kidnappers in the hotel. LUNG bumps into DAN in the rear staircase. Feeling suspect about her odd behaviors, LUNG questions her but DAN tries to dodge his queries. When BO knows that KEUNG stays at the hotel, BO can tell that he wants to investigate about the kidnappers. BO then asks NAM to cause some chaos in order to let him sneak into the hotel. MUI, the mother of LUNG has quietly sneaked into the hotel as well. NAM makes a small fire as to destroy the evidence of imprisoning LONG. Unexpectedly YUE is trapped by the fire and ON tries desperately to get into the scene and save her. KEUNG visits YUE and meets the matron whom is the birth mother of LONG. MUI is happy to see her son but her extraordinary relationship with CHAN is being exposed to LUNG and CHING.… ...

15. Episode 15

After receiving LONG’s finger, KEUNG gets a call from BO to remind him of paying the ransom as to ensure the safety of his son. Yet KEUNG intentionally conceals the matter… KA uses every stratagem to stop BO from catching her and plays hide-and-seek with him inside the hotel. When LUNG finds his mother as to find out his relationship with CHAN, he discovers a shocking secret that CHAN is the one who has killed his father… YUE finds that the PRETORIA’S STAR is gone without a trace. Also, she receives an apology text message from ON and makes her feel so depressed. During the process of chasing KA, NAM opposes in secret and releases her. Yet eventually BO still manages to find and stun KA. Taking the advantage of performing a magic show, ON proposes to YUE in public and makes her feel so touched. LUNG shows up and queries whether she has considered carefully about accepting ON.… ...

16. Episode 16

After her emotion is being cheated by ON, YAN contemplates alone on the roof. ON appears and indicates that his proposal to YUE is purely for the sake of obtaining her trust so that he can recapture the financial power… NAM and KA bring BO to the kitchen but surprisingly LONG is not there. BO therefore threatens NAM with the safety of KA and wants him to hand over LONG within the deadline. ON wants to meet CHING and intends to pry about the real identity of LUNG. ON sets up an audio monitor as to intercept the dialogues between LUNG and CHING. LUNG accidentally finds that DAN has been monitoring the conversation of FU. She frankly admits it and exposes the identity of LUNG as a police… BO successfully abducts LONG but runs into COOPER whom is already half drunk. When COOPER tries to stop BO, he is being pushed down the stairs and gets seriously injured. LUNG seeks help from the head nurse, CHENG MEI-WAH.… ...

17. Episode 17

When LUNG discloses to YUE that ON is trying to drug her, ON defends and exculpates himself. YUE firmly believes in ON. BO beats up NAM and KA badly and luckily CHAN shows up to rescue them. Surprisingly WAH is the surrogate mother of LONG. After learning from KEUNG what kind of life LONG has lived over the years, WAH regrets that she received two million dollars and gave up the custody of her son in the past… SIU-YAN has the symptoms of premature labor; YIN and YUE help to bring her to the medical room. Unexpectedly, there is an elevator failure half way through. SIU-YAN is compelled to give birth inside the elevator… YUE decides to probe her fiance and finds out that ON has secretly booked the air ticket to Switzerland… YUE has an appointment with ON and purposely gets YAN to try and drink the poisonous red wine. Surprisingly, ON stops it and YUE mentions that she has already transferred away the money in the account.… ...

18. Episode 18

ON indicates to YAN that he has another plan and makes YAN agree to help since there will be a hundred million dollars as the ransom. Knowing that he will be put into prison soon, NAM tells KA everything on his mind and they have sexual relations with each other spontaneously. NAM surrenders himself to KEUNG alone and KA rushes to admit her participation of the offense together with NAM. ON sets an audio monitor on WAH and finds out her relationship with KEUNG. BO snatches LONG away and gets into a nasty fight with ON. Finally LONG is in the hands of ON. YUE informs LUNG that ON has grabbed LONG with him. Taking the suspension as an excuse, LUNG refuses to help. KA and NAM invite KEUNG to preside over a simple wedding ceremony for them so that they can become a couple before going to jail. When the blockade of the hotel is formally lifted, ON tries to lure YUE and the others into a trap so that he can escape.… ...

Everybody is shocked to see the big explosion inside the hotel room and ON escapes during the chaos. NAM and KA make their confession to KEUNG and prepare to surrender themselves to the police. Yet KEUNG let both of them go. BO captures KA and questions her whereabouts of LONG… CHAN does not dare to show up when he visits SIU-YAN at the hospital. When SIU-YAN asks CHING about CHAN, BO and his men take them away. ON stuns YAN and takes away LONG as to ask KEUNG for the ransom. ON arranges KEUNG, HAN and WAH to appear at the press conference in the hotel. Then he wants KEUNG to tell in the presence of everyone about all the wrongdoings he has done to be televised live throughout HK… YUE and LUNG go separately to look for ON. After having a fight with LUNG, ON tries to run away. While ON thinks that he has already got rid of LUNG, YUE sees through his tricks.… ...

20. Episode 20

LUNG successfully gets beside LONG and stops the bomb from exploding. Yet the device contains no dynamite but only a countdown timer. CHAN brings the money to the lair of BO as to redeem SIU-YAN and the others. Due to the counterfeit notes being used as the ransom; moreover, NAM fails to threaten BO with the dynamite he brings. BO madly wants to carry out a slaughter… KEI goes to the hotel to arrest KEUNG and LUNG brings LONG to see him off. The police arrest NAM and KA but LONG claims that they have never kidnapped him. SIU-YAN and her mother bump into CHAN at the hospital, the family finally buries the hatchet. When ON sails towards his dream island to live there, a small boat intercepts him and the comer is YUE… A year later, the guests attend the party for the first anniversary of the quarantine. All the people share their recent situation. While YUE is alone, LUNG takes the opportunity to find out her current situation.… ...
