Here it is...the end of an era. Three years and almost twenty theories, but I think I have it. I think I've SOLVED FNAF. When you look at the timeline of events, all the major questions of the franchise start to make sense -- Who is inside Springtrap? Was FNAF 4 in 1983 or 1987? Where is Chica in Sister Location? What's the deal with Balloon Boy? So I went back and mapped out EVERY event to create the FINAL FNAF theory...answering all the lingering questions from the series and setting things up for Scott to eventually release FNAF 6. We all know it's coming so why resist?

I know I said the last FNAF episode was the last FNAF theory, But every time I think I've finished the FNAF theories, Scott releases a new game. It's like he's just sitting around with these finished games waiting for my theory to come out, then bam - he releases the new game. So you can probably expect FNAF 7 sometime next month.

In FNAF 4, the final image is a locked box with the message "Some things are best left forgotten for now." But with the series over, now is the time to answer...WHAT WAS IN IT? Well, it's not all that easy to answer. Because it's my theory, my FNAF theory, that the contents of the box have changed three times. So what was meant to be in FNAF 4's box vs what ended up in it when the credits rolled in FNAF 6? I think we've already seen the solution!

24. The FNAF 7 Oopsie! Scott's Problem With Fanart

Just a little while ago, Scott Cawthon resurfaced with a FNAF 7 teaser image that was quickly removed because - SHOCKER - it contained fan created models of the FNAF characters. If that sounds complicated, the short of it is that Scott (or rather his team) used fanart in their official teaser image. Those of us who have been on the internet for a little while know that is a big no-no. Yet if Scott owns the characters, but the fan artist owns the fanart, who has a right to the art?
