The competition heats up as everyone comes to terms with the surprise addition of a female geek, Helen, and male beauty, Troy. And with one elimination down already, the teams knuckle down to study for the challenges ahead.

A few crushes are beginning to form between the beauties and geeks but when it comes time for competition, romance takes a backseat as the teams try to master their recognition of famous faces.

It's not only the science of love but a science project that is keeping the teams busy. The beauties transform into hot science teachers as they present science projects to a group of school students. Who will engage the students with their knowledge of volcanoes, the solar system and anatomy, and who will crumble under the pressure? The geeks discover their inner beauty when they become cheerleaders for the day. Who will perfect their routine, and who will fail to bring it on?

5. Episode 5

There will be a transformation for one team, with the help of stylist Henry Roth after a photographic challenge. Posing as famous couples, from Adam and Eve to Antony and Cleopatra, is especially confronting for some. There is also a twist when girl geeks enter the house. Will the geeks trade their beauties?

The geeks are given an image overhaul with the help of an all-star makeover team. Celebrity stylist Henry Roth returns to oversee the remaining geeks' new looks, from wardrobe right through to hair and grooming. But will their outward appearance help improve their confidence? They'll be put to the ultimate test in a Full Monty-style challenge in front of a screaming crowd. Meanwhile, the beauties take charge of a fantasy superhero invented for them by their geeks. Who will have the right superpowers to keep their team safe? And in a shock no-one saw coming, one beauty decides to exit the mansion. Will her geek be able to continue in the competition?

7. Episode 7

The geeks are in for the biggest shock of the series. When the beauties face a spelling bee, it's not only torturous for them but has severe consequence for their partners - an electric shock.

8. Episode 8

Aired: 11/10/2011

The beauties are in for a mathematics lesson with a farmyard twist. The beauties are tested on something they've been dreading the entire competition - mathematics. But this is maths with a farmyard twist. Using numbered goats, sheep and other farm animals, the beauties must solve simple equations. The geeks face an equally troubling task when they're put in charge of styling some special friends when the eliminated geeks return to the mansion for a makeover. Which geek will wax, tan, groom and dress their friend to impress the ladies?

9. Episode 9

Aired: 11/17/2011

The beauties must strut the catwalk while embodying their geek's favourite London icon to impress guest judges Sonia Kruger and Jackie Frank. But they won't only be judged on their catwalk abilities; they'll also be judged on much they know about what they are representing - which ranges from the Queen to Big Ben. Meanwhile, the geeks are confronted with something unfamiliar: a naked woman. In this life-drawing challenge, the geeks believe they are being tested on their artistic skills but are in fact being quizzed on their ability to listen to women. Who will use their ears and not just their eyes to win the challenge?

10. Episode 10 - Finale

In this season's final episode, our remaining four teams knuckle down for some cram studying in hopes of scoring the best school report card. The beauties must compete in a rocket science test while the geeks must bake a cake that represents their beauty in a home economics test. Together they will then be marked on a physical education task that takes the form of synchronised diving. Then, the final three teams travel to a school formal, where a dance-off will determine the final two teams who will go into the final elimination quiz. Which team will walk home with the crown, plus a $100,000 prize?
