
The Russian Compound - Season 1
The series takes place in the 1990s against the backdrop of the Great Migration from the Soviet Union. Yehuda (Yaakov Zedah-Daniel) is an investigator in the Jerusalem Police in the Russian Compound. Yehuda describes himself as a true professional and a proud Israeli, investigating the murder mystery of a new immigrant. The murder case is very similar to murder cases that occurred in the Soviet Union. The starting point of the plot is after the brutal murder of a young new immigrant living in Jerusalem, and the investigation is entrusted to Yehuda, an investigator in the YMRA. Yehuda discovers that identical murders occurred in the Soviet Union in the late 1980s, when 12 women were murdered. The information comes from Andrei, the father of an innocent man who was convicted of these murders and is now awaiting death in Russia, and for him this is the last chance to find the real murderer and try to save his son.
