Karim rents a house on the beach and takes his family and his cousin Amirato with him. He also invites his friend Bahaa and his wife to spend the summer with him. Karim's writer friend brings a maid to help the family clean the house and cook food, while the landlady spies on Karim's family under the pretext that she is watching her house.

2. Episode 2

Raqiya goes to the house that Karima rented from her to take a fan that she left in a locked room, using it as an excuse to spy on them. Ameerato is a very stingy man who buys sardines from Bouraoui and his wife gets angry because she cleaned it all. As for Bahaa, he doesn't want to go to the beach because the sand is all dirty.

Baha goes jogging early in the morning by the sea and asks his wife when he returns to find his breakfast ready. As for Karim, he goes to the sea after lunch at noon and gets sunburnt and everyone laughs at him. Baha tells Amerato about global warming because he doesn't know about it.

Nagui sleeps in the street in front of the shop because of the extreme heat. A friend comes and puts his car on the survivor’s mattress and enters Karim’s house to give him the pesticide and sleeps there. In the morning, he finds that the survivor has removed the tires of his car to keep it away from him.

Amarato pretends that his stomach hurts and keeps screaming because he doesn't want to go to the sea with Karim and the family. Baha calls the doctor who gives him a painkiller and everyone goes to the sea except his wife who stays with him.

Karim asks Hamda, Raqia's husband, to fix the faucet for him and Raqia welcomes that, but the family treats Hamda with kindness and love and offers him breakfast and coffee, and he feels happy with them, which makes Raqia feel jealous and asks him to return home.

Sabry, Kareem's son, comes back from a trip with his girlfriend, who is older than him and works as a dancer. He tells his father that she is his fiancée and wants him to accept her. Everyone is surprised by the situation. As for Bahaa, he prepares a lecture about a famous writer and writes it on the computer, but Ameerato worries him.

Baha wakes up early to go to the bank to change currency. His wife asks him to go to the market and buy household necessities. He reluctantly agrees. Hayat also asks Omerato to go to the market and buy meat for lunch.

Baha goes to the beach early in the morning with Hamda's uncle and goes down to swim. The water is cold, but he likes it. When he returns, he starts telling the family about the benefits of swimming in the morning. Hamda visits Karim when he is alone at home and starts drinking coffee and smoking, despite Karim's annoyance. Bouraoui takes money from anyone who parks his car on the street.

The women decide to go to the market and leave Hayat alone with her son, Amirato, and advise him not to go to the beach without sunscreen. Baha also goes to the market alone and on his way back he falls to the ground because of Rafeeq's car. Hayat and her sisters return home and find that her son's complexion has become dark, so she quarrels with her husband.

Karim asks Rafiq to buy fresh fish from the market and Shadia cooks many types of delicious Tunisian food, so much so that the family members are surprised. The surprise was that Karim invited Bahaa's manager and his French wife to stay with them for a while.

Karim's first wife goes to the summer house to meet Karim because their son, Sabry, has disappeared and she doesn't know anything about him. Karim calls Sabry's dancer friend and learns that he is with her and reassures Khadija about him. Al-Naji falls in love with a new girl who lives in front of his shop and gives her all her purchases for free.

The people of the area where Karim and the rest of his family live are holding a festival for pancakes, and Bouraoui and Naji decide to make pancakes and enter the competition. Ameeratu wants to go to the festival with his wife, so they leave their son with Raqia, who reluctantly agrees because she gets tired of children. Karim and his wife and Bahaa and his wife also leave.

Karim wakes up early for the first time to go to the beach with Hamda, and Bahaa sees him and gets angry. Karim's wife prepares to surprise him on his birthday and buys him several gifts. The girl that Naji loved leaves the house she rented, and he discovers that she is married and was deceiving him to take provisions from him without asking for anything in return.

Karim feels sick and stays in bed in pain. Then, Amaratu comes to measure his blood pressure since he is a nurse, then takes a blood sample for the lab. Karim is in pain because it hurts. The survivor is very sad when he remembers what the girl took from him, and Al-Burawi suggests that he look for her.

The results of Karim's tests appear and the doctor asks him to eat healthy food to maintain his blood pressure and to walk a lot, but Karim cannot tolerate healthy food and goes to Hamda's house secretly and Raqiya serves him food.

Amarato goes out with Bahaa to the market after Karim refused and they were forced to leave. Hamda invites Karim to have lunch with him since his wife cooks healthy food and Karim is very happy. Bahda visits Hamda suddenly and Karim hides so that his secret is not revealed.

Ameeratu's wife makes a dessert that he hates but that Karim and the others like, and Ameeratu gives a plate to Naji and Bouraoui. Karim buys the same dessert from the market and distributes it to the family members.

For the first time, Amaratu buys some sweets after going to the beach with Karim and Baha and then to the market, and everyone is surprised because he is stingy. Karim and Baha go to the city of Hammamet without the women knowing and return at night secretly, but Amaratu discovers their secret and does not tell anyone.

Baha's children come from France and Karim goes to the airport to receive them. The family members are happy with them. Amirato's mother also comes and there is no room available for her, so Amirato gives her his room and his wife blames him for that. Baha's son goes out with Sabry on a motorbike.

Hayat quarrels with Souad because she took her clothes and did not return them because she actually ruined them. Al-Naji's nephew comes to visit him, but Al-Naji asks Hamda to let him spend the night with him because he does not have a place for him. The young man also goes to the sea, although he does not know how to swim and wants to go to Italy, so Al-Naji goes crazy because of his strange behavior.

Ibn Hamad comes home from his trip and sees Kareem's wife from the window. He calls her and she is very happy because he was her best childhood friend. Kareem feels very jealous, especially since Momo greets his wife with a kiss and did not go to work to spy on him.

On the night of Ramadan, Karim asks Amirato to give a plate of couscous to Naji to eat for Suhoor. Naji is very happy, and Hamda and Bouraoui also give him a plate of couscous. For the first time, Bahi will fast, so he goes to the sea with Hamda to shorten the time because he cannot stand the thirst.

Baha sleeps in the afternoon and Karim enters with Wahid and plants a small bomb for him to laugh at him. Karim asks Rafeeq to leave work and come so he can buy him some necessities from the market because he cannot go alone because of fasting. At night, everyone stays up late on the balcony of the house with Hamda.

Harboucha bids farewell to the survivor to return to France and the survivor gives him some things like olive oil. Bouraoui returns to the survivor and prepares breakfast for him because he was angry with him. Karim suspects that Baha is not fasting and asks Amirato to ask Baha to stick out his tongue to make sure that he is fasting.

Sabry returns home with Baha's son from their outing and Karim asks Sabry to come in and greet Baha's daughter, who gets angry because he doesn't want his daughter to be attached to Sabry. Sabry actually likes the girl and she likes him too. A circumcision ceremony is held and Baha and Karim wear traditional Tunisian clothes.

Karim sends Rafiq to buy him a big screen to watch the derby match, and Bahaa is upset with Rafiq because he always seeks his help. The new tenants go to Al-Naji to watch the match, and Karim's favorite team wins and he holds a celebration, but Bahaa does not like football.

Eid is approaching and the days of Ramadan are numbered, so Omerato's mother comes home and makes Eid sweets after the women told her that they don't know how to prepare them. Sabry meets Sarah at Al-Naji's shop every day secretly.

On Eid day, all the family members wear new clothes and both Bahaa and Karim wear traditional Tunisian clothes. Sabry comes and greets his father. Amiratou's mother gives some money to her son on the occasion of Eid and Karim gives money to Wahid.

30. Episode 30

Aired: 1/14/2011

Baha' prepares the bags to travel to France and Karim asks Rafeeq to bring the cars to take everyone, Amarato and his wife, and Baha' and his wife to the airport, but Wahid hid the passports because he does not want the worry of traveling, but Karim finds them. Al-Naji bids everyone farewell, sadly.
