Tommy meets plucky pensioner Joyce, who paid a contractor over £40,000 to renovate her home for her and her disabled husband. With work not up to scratch and the builder nowhere to be seen, Joyce is determined to fight back. Plumber Graham has to do a little detective work with the neighbours when a woman's radiator springs a leak.

Tommy Walsh meets Sue, who was taken in by a door-knocking con man who took £12,000 of her savings and left her with an unsafe and potentially fatal garden wall. A pub needs bailing out when their toilets block, leaving smelly sewage spilling out across the floor. Can plumber Dave get the job done before opening time?

Tommy Walsh travels to Kent to meet a family who can't even get out of their own kitchen door. A builder took their savings but left behind a dangerous half-finished extension. It's double trouble for plumber Nick when he responds to an emergency call-out at Philippa's home, only to find water pouring through to the flat downstairs.

Tommy Walsh gives some much-needed advice to Daryl and Jo, whose builder took their £50,000 inheritance meant for doing up their home. Fourteen months on, they've been left living in a shell of a home, with dangerous electrics, holes in walls and no sign of their contractor. The jetters get stuck in at a top rugby club when the drains block, leaving foul-smelling sewage seeping onto the grounds.

Tommy Walsh sees the damage left behind after a window fitter failed to put in proper supports, leaving huge cracks in the walls and brickwork of Gill's Edwardian home. Pest controller Ken is called out to deal with a foul smell at a family home and comes face to face with something sinister in their drain.

Tommy meets two victims of the same rogue roofer. Both were left feeling ripped off after he took all their money but left them with leaking and shoddy roofs. A tree surgeon comes to the rescue when Eric's giant beech tree puts his house - and people's lives - at risk.

Tommy tracks down Elaine's builder - and ex-family friend - to hear his side of the story, after she says she gave him more than £40,000 to convert her bungalow into a family home, but left her with no kitchen, no bathroom and no money. Plumber Wes and his apprentice Brett help out pensioner Robert when water starts gushing through his ceiling.

Tommy travels to Huddersfield to meet Alex, who paid a builder nearly £40,000 to extend his home ready for his girlfriend to move in. But when the building inspector condemned the work, Alex had to pull down the structure and start again. Plumber John is on a double call for help - when one householder takes a bath, the downstairs neighbour is left having a shower.

Tommy meets Brenda and Paul, who hired a builder to erect an orangery and knock through their kitchen, but were left £10,000 out of pocket, with the work condemned by surveyors and building control. Will the builder get his comeuppance? A family suffering plumbing problems think rats are running riot in their roof, but pest controller Ken has another theory.

Tommy Walsh has revealing news about Susan's builder, after her plans for an accessible landscaped garden left her £8,000 out of pocket and with an uneven, rubble-strewn backyard. And it takes two when plumber Peter and roofer Jason search high and low to try to find the cause of a leak which is damaging a pensioner's bathroom wall.

Tommy Walsh hears how a home full of memories becomes a house of horrors for Steve when a dodgy builder takes his money, rips out his kitchen and disappears for good. And a family party is in danger of being over before it's even started, unless plumber John can get the heating working again.

Tommy Walsh travels to West Yorkshire to meet Claire, whose legacy from her beloved nan was wasted after a friend agreed to build her extension but left it half-finished when he disappeared with her inheritance. And Maggie calls for help to deal with suspected squirrels squatting in her loft, but pest controller Paul can smell a rat.

Tommy Walsh meets Zena, whose dreams of retirement with husband Jack in a newly converted bungalow were destroyed after she handed over hundreds of thousands of pounds to a project manager who was unable to cope with the job. Tommy visits the builder who put the work right and hears how Jack sadly passed away before being able to enjoy his new home. Plus losing his truck keys means a disastrous start to the day for Jonny, but locksmith Kris has a secret gadget which soon makes him smile.

Tommy Walsh meets two people who've fallen victim to the same building firm - both handed over all their money, only for the builders to stop turning up after a couple of weeks. Plus gas man Lee manages to bring warmth to a family feeling the chill after their boiler breaks down for a week in winter.
