Abbas tries to get his son Mahmoud to finish his education and get a good job. When Atef quarrels with his manager Abbas, Atef ends up resigning. Years later, Mahmoud holds his father responsible for his failure since he didn't allow him to go to the Faculty of Commerce like he wanted.

As she gets a job as the editor of press reports, Mai marries Hossam, who grows to resent her preoccupation with her work and her disobedience of him, which leads them to get a divorce. When Hossam is set for an interview years later, he is shocked when Mai arrives to interview him.

When Sa'eid starts to tutor Nour in Arabic, he confesses his love for her. Rostom keeps his distance from Nour since his financial status disallows their engagement. When Rostom finally marries Nour years later, he comes to discover that she isn't as perfect as he envisioned her to be.

When Mounira weds Salah, she struggles to deal with his attempt to turn her into a copy of his first wife Azza, whom he is unable to forget since he blames himself for destroying her life. Mounira successfully proves to Salah that Azza has managed to move on.

6. Crown of Fame

After he accidentally embarrasses her, the assistant director Wagdy decides to give Sou'ad a chance to become an actress. As Wagdy helps her achieve fame, they soon clash as Sou'ad's star starts to shine. But the lights soon dim as she grows older and loses the spotlight.

7. My Beloved Ahmed

When Soha crashes her car into another's, the other driver, who demands a huge compensation, turns out to be her former college classmate, Ahmed, whom she used to be in love with. When Ahmed realizes who Soha is, he decides not to sue her.

Due to his work as a famous writer, Tharwat often loses his temper with Hoda, especially as he is bothered by her constant calmness. When Hoda gets fed up with his attitude, she threatens to get a divorce, which leads Tharwat to reevaluate his actions and realize how much Hoda means to him.

Sa'eid struggles to deal with his wife Maha's obsession with antiques, especially since she spends all their money on feeding her obsession. When Sa'eid's business and architecture firm suffers a crisis, Maha sells her antiques to provide him with money.

After his retirement, the childless Mahfouz is unable to deal with his empty life. When he buys a piece of land to build classes to help students with their studies, the mayor cons him. Mahfouz and Zeinab go to Cairo to ask his former student Salem for help, but he is shocked to be met with ungratefulness.
