Mamma has a nightmare and wakes up the whole city. Mama goes to Mãe de Santo in search of answers about Manfredinho’s return. At the cemetery, Mamma talks to her late husband.

2. Episode 2

The city's men come together to come up with a plan against Manfredinho. Mamma discovers that her son was almost killed for sleeping with a German's wife. Manfredinho arrives in the city.

3. Episode 3

Aired: 10/10/1990

A twist happens and the killer gives up on completing his work. Manfredinho and Soninha meet again and fall in love. Manfredinho's life is at risk, but he marries Soninha.

4. Episode 4

Aired: 10/11/1990

A rumor about Manfredinho and Soninha's sex life spreads around the city. Mamma uses her spiritual knowledge to maintain her son's reputation.

5. Episode 5

Aired: 10/12/1990

Mamma listens to Manfredão's advice and comes up with a plan to save Manfredinho's reputation. Paulinho enters Soninha's room at night. Tarquino tries to return home with Soninha.
