The protagonist is Konoha Akisato, a 19‑year‑old illustrator in 2023 who loves bishōjo games (games focused on “beautiful girls”). She works at a company making mobile/social games, but she’s stuck doing low‑level background art rather than fulfilling her dream of being a top illustrator. One day, she obtains a classic bishōjo game (the venerable Dokyusei) and, in a fantastical twist, finds herself transported back in time — to 1992, the dawn of the bishōjo game era.
