Rosa's rich parents have Matteo and Simone's communist parents over for a disastrous dinner. At the carnival, a confused Nora confronts her grandmother.
Trying to figure things out, Nora confesses to Rosa, but swears her to secrecy. Simone becomes obsessed with the possibility of Sandro's criminality.
