The ups and downs of Epsom Downs racecourse is the focus of this episode of Bargain Hunt. As is customary, the teams have one hour to buy three items with £300, but who will be odds-on favourites? Helping them first past the post are experts David Harper and Natasha Raskin. Meanwhile, presenter Tim Wonnacott heads to Winchester, the home of the Royal Green Jackets Museum.

Lindsay Vintiner takes to the auction rostrum in Bedford and Tim comes across a boys' toy with some fascinating history.

Bargain Hunt comes from Lincoln as the red and blue teams go head to head in the search for three bargains to take to auction. Tim Wonnacott presides and expertise is provided by Charles Hanson and Paul Laidlaw. Tim also pays a visit to Belton House to see a collection of silverware once used in Downing Street, as well as handling a contemporary silver bowl loaned exclusively to the programme from the prime minister's London address.

For the first time the show features a team of profoundly deaf contestants using British Sign Language, who enlist a sign language interpreter along with their expert Anita Manning. Jonathan Pratt provides advice to the opposing team as they each attempt to find three interesting items which might make a profit at auction.

Joining presenter Tim Wonnacott are two young brothers who introduce us to their energetic hobby, bocking. And keeping up with the reds every step of the way are two ladies old enough to know better. They share with us their eccentric passions for high-speed motorcycling, frog breeding and knitted vegetables. And all this before the shopping even begins! Joining in the fun and games are antiques experts Kate Bliss and Christina Trevanion.
