1. Chevy panel van & Brooklands Capri

A near-perfect ‘50s Chevy panel van and a very desirable low-mileage ‘80s Brooklands Capri tempt auctioneer Derek out of Yorkshire, but traffic chaos on the way to Wales puts him way behind schedule. "I can't be late, I've got no pyjamas" ...says a worried Derek as he realises he is going to have to overnight across the border. Safely back in Yorkshire, he evaluates the cars ahead of the auction - two of the best he has seen. The vehicles' owners have high expectations, the reserves are top end - and the auction is days away. Paul picks up a stunning Matchless Model X motorbike which attracts a lot of pre-auction attention from some vintage motorcycle fans, and Derek and grandson Charlie spend the day at Stokesley Classic Car Show. It's not a relaxing day out for the pair as they've been set a monumental task - valuing the 200 classic cars.

2. Triumph TR6, Lotus Cortina & Mini Mayfair

The summer brings an increase in business for Yorkshire classic car auctioneers. To keep pace, the Mathewsons introduce their new "multiple classic collection plan", much to the amusement of office manager Sarah. Dave sets off to collect a Triumph TR6, a Lotus Cortina and a Mini Mayfair wedding car and bring them back to the auction house. The team heads to The Wirral for a rare survivor, a DAF 33 from the ‘70s. "It's a car that had a bit of an image issue back in the day, but it also had a gearbox ahead of its time," says Derek - as everyone tries to explain how it works before the car is auctioned off.

3. Bentley & Ford XR2

Anglophile Derek struggles to get his message across on a rare trip abroad to pick up a Bentley, while a well-restored Ford XR2 sets the auction alight.

4. Sunbeam Lotus & Morris Minor

Dave finds a very rare 70s Sunbeam Lotus that has been rotting away in a farmyard for 29 years, while a Morris Minor convertible goes under the hammer.

5. Austin A35 & Jaguar E-Type

A delightful collection of British classics comes up for auction, including an Austin A35 and a Hillman Avenger Estate in stunning condition. An E-Type Jaguar also hits the auction.

6. Three MGs, Morris 1000 & TR7 V8

Three MGs from the 70s turn up at the garage, still covered in original factory wax. Nobody can believe it, or value them. A Morris 1000 turns up at the auction along with a TR7 V8.

7. Three Alvises & Chevrolet Corvette

Three rare Alvises get the auction buyers going when put under the hammer. A Chevy Corvette which started its journey in Saudi Arabia makes its way to Thornton le Dale for the sale.

8. Fast Fords & Austin Heavy 12

Dave gets a nasty surprise when he opens the bonnet of a fast Ford from the 80's, and an Austin Heavy 12 nearly a century old sets off a bidding war at the auction.

9. Mini Pickup & 350cc Douglas Mk V

Aired: 4/2/2020

Derek, with help from the Mathewson clan, drag a mini pickup out of the barn where it's been for 20 years, and a 350cc Douglas Mark V motorbike from 1950 goes under the hammer.

10. Three VW Camper Vans & Austin 16

Aired: 4/9/2020

Four VW camper vans pitch up at the auction house looking for a new home and Derek picks up an Austin 16 that 'goes like stink and has some unusual modern modifications'.
