Skit with girls protesting Hope's treatment of them. Anita Bryant sings Silent night. Troupe visits wounded. Hope asks General Leo Wald why we must win. Other participants are Rita Feria (Miss World), Les Brown and his Band of Reknown, Phyllis Diller.

Enemy on the Beach is set on the coast of Ireland during World War II. Two German mines wash up on shore, posing a hazard to everyone within miles. The UXB squad dispatched to disarm the bombs consists of a cocksure merchant marine officer and a martinet British commander. It's a toss-up as to which will explode first: the bombs or the hostility between the two men.
