1. Episode 1

KO CHING shows sign of his astuteness during the King of Gambling competition. The people then praise him with the nickname ‘the Gambling God'. After that, he feels very lonely. He has no interest in managing his casino business. In order to pursue the supreme level of gambling skills, he secretly disappears. In order to pursue a breakthrough in gambling skills, CHING challenges a monk who was very famous in the gambling world in the old days. However, the monk, SIK HUNG, refuses to accept CHING's challenge. HUNG recalls the past. He had brought up KO CHING and LOK KING SUM and had taught them the garbling skill. One day, the enemies had come,' HUNG had t~ flee ~way. He then asked SHUN HING to take care CHING and SUM. Then he left no message for them for many years. Twenty years later, he has become a monk. CHING has left the casino business for SUM to manage while he has disappeared……

2. Episode 2

CHING appears again in the gambling world. He witnesses that their casino is at stake, therefore, he arranges to challenge HUNG, He wins HUNG with his outstanding gambling skill and could eventually win back their casino. WAH and KEUNG pretends to be the air-conditioning maintenance workers so that they could mingle into the casino. They witness how CHING defeats HUNG and admires CHING a lot. Both of them want to be CHING’s apprentice. After CHING has backed to the casino and manages its business, his position becomes' more important and outstanding. . On the contrast, SUM becomes the second man and loses his importance, He begins to jealous CHING. WAH tries to approach CHING and begs CHING to accept him as one of his apprentice. CHING refuses WAH. Later, CHING is affected with his sincerity and allows him to work in the casino so that CHING could observe his performance. CHING originally has had a wife, FONG YUEN YING……

3. Episode 3

CHING is the focus in the gambling world. Many people challenge CHING. However, CHING could defeat all of them with his unusual gambling skill. His ‘Gambling God' position is thus greatly strengthened. SUM is reluctant to loss his importance. HING always teases SUM. SUM feels very intolerable and decides to leave. CHING tries his best to ask him stay, SUM then agrees to stay. WAH bothers CHING a lot and devises to make CHING accept him as his apprentice" Unexpectedly, he hurts YING. WAH feels very sorry and apologizes for his mistake. YING appreciates his pleasant character. At the beginning, CHING does not notice WAH. Later, he discovers that WAH has great talent for gambling, He also feels touched with his sincerity and unwearied effort. CHING eventually accepts WAR as his apprentice. WAH is interviewed by KI in the street. WAR treats her perfunctorily and they start a squabble……

KUNG XIA LAI LOT's father is the leader of the t Black Wood Triad'. CHING has' had defeated the ‘Black Wood Triad' in Osaka. The leader kills- himself in regret. The members take the opportunity to seize power and kill each other. Later, the Black Wood Triad was seized by the Shan Hao Section'. LOI is determined to take revenge. She changes her name and is keen on practising gambling skills. She decides to take revenge on CHING. LOI appears in the casino with a sexy look. Many people pay special attention to her. HING admires her beauty. He even joins with LOI to plot against CHING. SUM has secretly loved YING all along. Therefore, he always fears that CHING will take his career and woman away from him. Moreover, with LEE LEE's instigation, SUM is more determined to trap CHING. CHING teaches WAH all his gambling skill. Though WAH is clever and smart, he lacks patience……

5. Episode 5

KI is dissatisfied with WAH who is very arrogant. Later, WAH saves KI and a group of children bravely in a traffic accident. KI could then see WAH's positive side and begins to have a good impression on him. HUNG sees through SUM who is very upset. He thus persuades SUM to establish his own casino. SUM does not affect at all. LOI understands man a lot. She makes HING crazy for her. Then she uses HING to wing CHING's favour and gradually starts her plan for revenge. LOI disturbs the casino's procedure and deliberately cheats on the betting table. WAH is being framed and is forced to dismiss temporarily. WAH by chance discovers that SUM is KI's father. He knows that misunderstandings do exist between them. WAH tries to mediate. KI respects his father all along. She has never suspected his character and behaviour. However, his father's good image is destroyed. Once KI has known the truth……

6. Episode 6

LOI threatens CHING to gamble with her by capturing YING. She takes this opportunity for revenge. However, she loses. She is . so angry that she wants to sacrifice herself for killing CHING with an explosive. Fortunately, CHING is very shrewd. He escapes from danger with the two girls. LOI is hurt. CHING saves her. LOI is so ashamed that she wants to kill herself. CHING saves her again. She feels very touched and forgives CHING. She reforms herself and lives a new life. In fact, LOI is controlled by YAT LONG of the Pun Lung Triad. He utilizes LOI to seize CHING' s casino. When LONG has known that CHING has harboured LOJ, he forces CHING to hand over LOI to him. CHING does not want to be ungrateful to L01 who is so determined to reform herself, therefore, he goes to Japan by himself. He tries to persuade the elder member of the Pun Lung Triad forgiving LOI……

7. Episode 7

Aired: 9/1/1992

CHING asks SUM why he killed LOI. SUH explains that he only killed LOI in a towering anger. CHING suspects SUM's intention. SUM finds that CHING does not trust him anymore. He waits upon a chance to eliminate CHING. A buddhist devotee, CHING MING, possesses some extraordinary power in some marvellous doings, therefore, he does gain some reputation. One day, he calculaces that CHING and SUM are the two who posses the heaven's decree. He then re60mmends himself in helping them to accomplish their achievements. CHING carries off with a laugh. SUM is half in doubt. CHING devises to make SUM believe him. He even claims that he will help SUM to eliminate CHING. SUM is very happy. CHING wants SUM to give him CHING's horoscope. However, CHING is an orphan and thus has no trace of his horoscope. SUM then goes to the orphanage to investigate He eventually finds an old woman to disclose CHING's horoscope……

8. Episode 8

Aired: 9/2/1992

They spread that CHING was dead when he is on the way to the hospital. All the people feel very surprised. MING wants to continue the bet, HING also agrees to continue. CHING makes MING believe that CHING has restored to live in order to strike him. Consequently, MING loses. YING is angry with CHING who has pretended to be dead. It wastes her effort worrying for him. YING then leaves CHING. Later, WAR mediates between YING and CHING. They eventually reconcile with each other. After SUM has known that KI and WAH are dating, he fears that they will bother him in confronting CHING. Thus, he stops them to contact each other. MING finds that WAH does possess talent in gambling, therefore, he advises SUM to make WAH his man. CHING finds out that SUM instructed MING to challenge him. He then questions SUM. SUM frankly tells CHING that he is always jealous of CHING' s position and pretends that he will correct his attitude……

9. Episode 9

SUM finds that a refugee, HO WONG BILL's appearance is resemble to CHING. He decides to patronize him and uses him to overthrow CHING. SUM appoints a doctor -to do a plastic surgery for BILL. Then suffices BILL to follow CHING's posture and word. He aims to make BILL become another CHING in the shorter time. WAH's gambling skill has improved tremendously with CHING' S guide. CHING and WAH are not only teacher and students, but they are also very good friends. WAH and KI have fallen in love with each other smoothly. However, KI does not want WAH to sustain his‧ living by gambling. She tries her‧ best in helping WAH to live anew. However, WAH is eager to develop his career in gambling. Conflict arises between KAH and KI. With CHING's help, WAH becomes very proud of himself a hermit comes to the casino to challenge CHING. WAH accepts the challenge himself. He eventually defeats the hermit……

10. Episode 10

Aired: 9/4/1992

WAH arrives the spot and misunderstands that BILL is CHING. WAR even misunderstands that CHING is the murderer. He is so frightened that he let BILL go away. HING is seriously hurt and is being sent to the hospital. Later, SUM discovers that BILL has used his left hand to pierce HING. He fears that RING will be saved and suspects the case, therefore, SUM waits upon a chance to kill HING. . CHING is difficult to get at the truth and becomes the scapegoat. WAH believes that CHING is innocent. He finds the hawker who can prove CHING was at home while the murder Has taking place. Unexpectedly, the hawker has died when he finds him. CHING visits HING. HING is so irritated that he dies immediately. HING scolds CHING and points out that CHING is the murder when he is about to die. CHING is very upset.

11. Episode 11

Aired: 9/7/1992

WAH is in doubt about CHING. Thus, he goes to HING's home to investigate. He discovers that HING has left a will which stated that he would pass his throne to SUM after he has died. WAH suspects CHING who has already kwon HING's will and killed HING in a towering anger. WAH then affirms that CHING is the murderer. CHING wants to make the case clear before HING dies. SUM knows this and arranges LEE LEE to kill HING and dead' man tells no tales. CHING is difficult to get at the truth. CHING is being framed up to be the murderer. He is then being expelled from the casino. His hand veins are also being cut. CHING is very painful. WAH and CHUNG quarrel with each other. WAH suffers a great blow after he has been sure that CHING is the murderer. WAH even decides to abandon to develop his career in the gambling field. SUN's plot is very successful. He takes over the casino……

12. Episode 12

Aired: 9/8/1992

WAH has a great achievement in the casino within a short period of time. However, KEUNG makes no progress at all. WAH gradually neglects KEUNG. WAH even quarrels with KEUNG. KEUNG leaves the casino sadly. HO HUNG challenges SUM. SUM appoints WAH to compete with HUNG. HUNG wants to check WAH's personal history. HUNG then forces CHING to tell him WAH's weaknesses. CHING is not reluctant to tell and is assaulted by HUNG. WAH finds that CHING has met HUNG and suspects CHING has betrayed him. WAH then deliberately shows his weaknesses during the competition. HUNG thinks that he has already known WAH' s weaknesses and does not take precaution on WAH. Consequently, HUNG has lost his casino to WAH. WAH enjoys a high reputation in the gambling world. WAH misunderstands CHING and joins with SUM to confront with him. He makes CHING feel very painful and upset……

13. Episode 13

Aired: 9/9/1992

SUM is invited by SHAN HAO CHI YA to participate in the league of global gambling conference which is held in Hong Kong. While SUM and a foreign Gambling King are competing for the Chairman position, they are shot by a group of gangsters. It makes the spot a mess. KI and YA's daughter, SIU HEI, are being kidnapped by the shooter. WAH and KEUNG find them and save KI. However, MEI has already died during the shooting. The foreign Gambling King is accused to be the murderer. YING accompanies CHING all along since CHING has encountered the misfortune. CHING then understands that love feeling is very precious. He regrets that he only pays attention to gambling and neglects YING. CHING decides to seclude from the world with YING. However, YING finds that CHING is, indeed, very unhappy after leaving the gambling world. Thus, she begs SUM to arrange a job in casino for CHING……

14. Episode 14

Aired: 9/10/1992

CHING wants to celebrate .SUM' s birthday together with YING. However, CHING excuses to absent himself without notice SUM and YING. It provides a chance for SUM and YING to stay alone. LEE LEE makes an appointment with SUM to celebrate his birthday. However, SUM breaks his promise without notifying LEE. LEE finds that SUM and YING are staying alone. She is very angry and quarrels with SUM. SUM hates LEE and arranges AH KOW to have an affair with LEE. SUM then deliberately discloses the case and takes this opportunity to cast LEE aside. YING knows that the Extraordinary Power Research Institute will come to Hong Kong for a lecture. She deliberately goes to check the details. She hopes that the section head, HUNG KWAN, could cure CHING. However, SUM knows the case and buys off KWAN to worsen CHING's situation instead of curing him. KWAN agrees. KWAN meets LEE in the casino and is attracted by her beauty……

15. Episode 15

Aired: 9/11/1992

LEE by chance discovers video tape that shows how BILL has had his plastic surgery. She uses the tape to force SUM marrying her. SUM then has to obey her temporarily. SUM has held a banquet and does not disclose the purposes of the banquet. Ultimately, SUM finds out the video tape and destroys it. SUM immediately turns a cold shoulder to LEE. LEE struggles with SUM and SUM kills her. SUM rushes to the banquet and tries to be calm. He announces that WAH will be the successor to the casino. He also urges WAH and KI to engage with each other. KI has no preparation and does not know where to turn to. CHING feels very sudden and goes to LEE's hotel to investigate. He discovers that AH KOW is ordered to remove LEE's corpse. CHING even takes the chance to steal the tape's ashes. CHING discovers SUM's evil deed and warns WAR not to give credence to SUM……

16. Episode 16

Aired: 9/14/1992

CHING questions SUM with the video tape during KI and WAH's marriage eve. SUM frankly tells CHING his evil deed. SUM even wants to shoot CHING. Meanwhile, KI arrives. SUM mistakenly shoots KI. KI is seriously injured. CHING takes this opportunity to escape. WAR goes to the hospital and sees that KI is seriously hurt. He .asks SUM the details. SUM frames CHING up. WAR believes and searches CHING for revenge. When KI has awakened, she rebukes SUM. SUM pretends that he will correct himself and asks KI to forgive him. KI persuades WAH to let CHING free but she does not tell WAH the truth. WAH disagrees with SUM's instigation, he will continue to find CHING. CHING is being framed up and has no other alternative. He asks YING to diversify SUM's attention, then he goes to the hospital to see KI. CHING requests KI to prove that her father is guilt Yi KI falls into a dilemma. Meanwhile, SUM and WAR arrive……

17. Episode 17

Aired: 9/15/1992

YAN is being shot. Her lower part is proved to be paralysed in the hospital. KI feels very sorry. KEUNG knows that YAN has fallen in love with WAH and thus is willing to help YAN save WAH. When WAH has known the case, he takes good care of YAN. He even encourages YAN. KI sees that YAN does love with WAH a lot. She falls into a dilemma. SUM challenges CHING with his life. CHING agrees to accept the challenge after one month. YING fears that CHING has not yet recovered. She requests KWAN to cure CHING. However, KWAN demands YING to have an affair with him. YING disagrees. KWAN demands a lot from SUM. SUM's subordinates are very angry and hits KWAN. KWAN is very angry and agrees to cure CHING. He joins CHING to confront with SUM. WAH worries that CHING will lose. WAR then goes to the temple. He implores SIK HUNG to persuade SUM forgiving CHING……

18. Episode 18

Aired: 9/16/1992

HUNG persuades SUM to stop but is it vain. HUNG even stakes his life to gamble with SUM. During the bet, SUM discloses what HUNG has done for the triad in the past so as to disturb HUNG's mood. HUNG is eventually defeated by SUM. HUNG swallows the poison and dies. KWAN lives together with CHING and is gradually affected with CHING who possesses a strong sense of righteous. KWAN thus is willing to cure CHING neglecting the rewards. CHING is also happy to make friend with KWAN. In order to destroy CHING's plan, SUM sends AH KOW to kill KWAN. CHING feels very sorry for involving KWAN into trouble. Fortunately, KWAN has had taught CHING the way in curing oneself before he dies. Thus, CHING could gradually recover. KI is disappointed in love. She is also shut up by SUM in threatening WAH. For the sake of KI, CHING agrees on what SUM proposes……

19. Episode 19

Aired: 9/17/1992

While SUM and CHING are having a decisive bet,. SUM incessantly threatens CHING psychologically. Moreover, CHING has not yet recovered. Thus, CHING is eventually defeated by SUM. CHING agrees to kill himself. YING is reluctant to see CHING die and persuades CHING to escape away. CHING refuses to leave as he does not want to break his promise. YING begs SUM to set CHING free. SUM only agrees with YING as the exchange. YING disagrees. She wants to kill SUM but is in vain. She is driven away by SUM instead. CHING keeps his promise 'and kills himself in public. YING is willing to sacrifice herself and dies together with CHING. She jumps down from a cliff together with CHING. The public is very surprised. SUM's subordinates disagree with SUM who has done so many evil deeds. They then disperse in all direction and leave SUM……

20. Episode 20

WAH swears that he will take revenge for CRING. After several struggles, he could eventually be recognised as the new Gambling King and becomes very famous. WAH is supported with great capital and decides to challenge SUM openly. Though SUM fears his strength, he has to accept the challenge so as to 'save his face. In order not to disturb by SUM before the bet, WAR and YAN hide themselves in a secret place. Meanwhile, YAN is seriously ill but WAH does not allow YAN to see the doctor. KEUNG and the others worry that WAH will follow SUM who is cunning and treacherous. After a vehement and decisive battle, WAH could eventually defeat SUM. However, SUM is reluctant to lose everything. He is so irritated that he decides to die with all by an explosion. Could WAH escape from the disaster? How does KI settle tripartite lover affair?
