1. Episode 1

Ken Yue and Yik Yuen Man have gone to the same cobbler to mend their shoes. They carelessly exchange their shoes with each other in confusion. Man is busy with her wedding, however, her fiance, Kam On, does not care about the wedding at all. Man's good friend, Chu Wai Sum, feels uneasy for Man. Ken Yue is also busy with his wedding. However, his fiancee, Janet, deliberately keeps away from Yue and the latter does not aware at all. Ken Yue and Yuen Man have their wedding ceremony in the same registration centre. Kam On and Janet simultaneously break the marriage. Yue and Man, at the same time, suffer a great blow. Man and Yue know and impress each other accidentally and find that they work nearby each other. Man witnesses that Hui Vim Lai is treated indecently by a rascal. Man thinks that Lai is shy to cry for help. She then calls aloud for Lai.

2. Episode 2

Lai is reluctant to accuse the rascal and thus embarrass Man. Man is dissatisfied with Lai. Yue would like to restore his relation with Janet during Lee Chung Ming's wedding day. However, Yue has a quarrel with Yvonne when she has come. Yue then finds out that Janet and Yvonne do have some subtle relation with each other. Yue feels very sad about that. Ho Kwok Leung brings a potential customer to Ken Ching's anti?quarian shop. However, Leung feels very embarrassed as Ching is indifferent to Leung's customer. When Ching knows Yue would like to do business with Leung, she warns Yue. Yue meets Man again and have dinner together. They both impress each other. Later, Man misunderstands that Yue and Ching's relation. She could be released only after she knows Yue is Ching's brother. Vim Lai goes to Macau to gamble and gets to know To Vat Lin. 7hey join together to make a profit by gambling. They celebrate after making a profit……

3. Episode 3

Ken Yue and Yuen Man keep in touch closely with each other and love feeling thus develops. They also find out that they are both being casted aside at the same registration centre and feel very intimate with each other. Once, Yue and Man meet Kam On who is with his new lover when they are having dinner. Man feels very depressed. Yue consoles her and love feeling between them develops. Yat Lin meets Lai again and aims at getting back the money. Lai, in order to escape, cries for help and implicates Lin to be beaten. Lai feels very sorry and promises Lin to pay back the money. Lai goes to a restaurant to pay Lin the money. Lin is playing mahjong and needs one more player. Lai is then asked to be the player. Lin loses. Man has a business trip to Japan and is robbed. She then scares to stay alone in the hotel. Yue misses Man and follows her to Japan. However, Man thinks that Yue is a thief and hurts him.

4. Episode 4

Yue and Man love each other so deep that they decide to marry in Japan. Ken Ching and Wai Sum feel very surprised when they have heard the news. Man moves into Yue's flat when they return to Hong Kong. Man feels very uneasy as she does not Know Ken Ching and Amah Quen well. Moreover, their live style is not the same. Fortunately, Yue is considerate and concerning, therefore, this new-married couple could live happily together at the moment. Candy thinks that she can fool a jerk to pay for her and thus invite Lai to have a buffet with her at a high class restaurant. Unexpectedly, the jerk breaks the appointment. Lai and Candy do not have any money with them. Lai then tries to tempt Ken Yue with her beauty to pay for them. Yue understands her intention and generously pay for them. Man discovers Ching has secretly checked Kwok Leung's paging content and dare not to disclose the truth……

5. Episode 5

Vat Lin is persecuted by a loan-shark. Lai tries to help him. Lin then moves to Lai's flat so as to avoid the loan-shark. Yue and Man see that Man Kwong and Wai Sum are both single and would like to bring them together. However, Sum and Kwong show no interest at all. Yue and Man make a vain attempt. Ken Yue meets Janet and sees that she is very depressed. Yue sympathizes her and Janet would also like to restore their couple relation. Fortunately, Yue could control himself. Charlie plays around with other women. However, with the presence of his wife, Chow Nam warns him that if he does anything wrong, she will kill their child and suicide. Man discovers that Janet still uses Yue's subordinate credit card to pay her bills. She thus questions Yue the case.

6. Episode 6

Lui Choi Cheung and Ah Fun have some conflicts with each other. Choi Cheung feels very sad. Man consoles him when he told Man his case. During the three months marriage commemoration day when Yue and Man are going to have a celebration dinner, Janet and Choi Cheung go to tell Yue and Man their grievance respectively. Yue and Man dare not to refuse them and eventually leads them to misunder?stand each other. Ah Fun goes to Man's office and scolds her for seducing Choi Cheung. It does not only embarrass Man, but also deepens the misunderstanding. Janet is sad and gets drunk. Yue then brings her home for a rest. Ken Ching and Amah Quen take care her. Man feels very lonely and sad. She seems a stranger for the Ken's family. Yue understands her feeling and tries to console her. This further improves their couple relation. Man and Choi Cheung are sent to work overseas. Man fears that Yue would misunderstand……

7. Episode 7

Yue then helps Lai to avoid the trouble man. Lai feels funny about Yue. Lai rings up Yat Lin after playing overnight mahjong when her mind is not very clear. Lin thinks that there must be something happened and hurries to Lai's flat. Lai and Lin make love unconsciously. Lai rebukes Lin when her mind is clear. Lin feels very angry and leaves. Lai carelessly breaks a deluxe perfume when she is shopping. She has no money and asks Lin for Help. Lin does not help her. She could only be free with Yue's help. Kwok Leung decides to stop gambling after his son's persuasion. He even buys in some shares from Yue's company. Ken Ching knows that and gradually forgives him. Chung Ming gets to know a whore Mable. He then starts another love affair besides the marriage. Ken Yue persuades him not to but Chung Ming disregards him.

8. Episode 8

Aired: 6/17/1991

Ken Yue, Kwok Leung and one Taiwan businessman, Mr. Chan, having a meeting and meet Lai. Mr. Chan is enamoured by her beauty. Lai helps Yue by stupefying Mr. Chan with drink. Yue and Leung are also drunk. Lai then brings them home. Ching misunder?stands that Yue and Leung are playing around with other women and is dissatisfied. Lai again helps Yue to do the business. They nearly have sexual relation after some drinks. Fortunately, Yue could control himself. Man returns to Hong Kong after the business trip. She is happy to see Yue after a short-time apart from him. Mable claims that she has lost a lot of money for buying in some shares. She then incurs a great debt. Chung Ming promises to pay the debts for her. Chow Nam discovers that Charlie has a close contact with another girl. She asks Charlie the truth. Charlie admits his fault and claims that he will stop seeing that girl. Choi Chung shows love to Man……

9. Episode 9

Man persuades Chung not to be silly. The police eventually suppresses Chung. However, Yue has already misunderstood that there is some subtle relation between Man and Chung. Yue is then very cool to Man. Man feels that she is being treated with injustice and on the impulse of the moment, she leaves Ken's family and moves to Wai Sum's house. Man is troubled by the rumours. The working pressure around her makes her gloomier. Wai Sum consoles her. Chow Nam discovers that Charlie does have a mistress and also a child. Nam is very disappointed with Charlie. Man cannot bear the pressure and decides to take a rest in a hospital. Lai also lives in the same hospital to have a surgical operation for cutting an ovary tumour. They live in the same room. Chung Ming embezzles the company fund for the sake of helping Mable to pay the debt. His act makes the company involve in a financial crisis. Yue is very angry about that……

10. Episode 10

Aired: 6/19/1991

After the operation, Lai cannot give birth to child. Lin comes to pick her. Unfortunately, they have a quarrel, Lai thinks that Lin would not marry her, she leaves angrily. Chow Nam is very disappointed with Charlie and decides to jump into the sea and dies. Charlie arrives and expresses regret for what he has done. Lin takes the initiative to see La; and asks her to marry him. Lai feels very happy and promises to marry him immediately. Chung Ming eventually finds out that Mable is just aiming at cheating his money and he is regretful for what he has done. He goes to a pub to have a drink and meets Ken Yue and the other. Lap Kwong beats him and when they understand his situation, they forgive him. Kwok Leung becomes a new man and totally dedicates to his career with Yue's encouragement; he would like to restore the couple relation with Ken Ching. Ching could also change her mind and accept Leung once more……
