TAK is able to sell his skin care products to two women. He even gives them his name card. In fact, TAK is a staff of the “Thorough Private Investigation Company”. The boss of the investigation company, KETONE blames her staff, LONG, who fails in investigating a rich merchant who is suspected to have an illicit relationship. KETONE decides to handle the case by herself. TAK and YING devise to collect evidence against a man who cheated on getting insurance compensation. However, KETONE does not agree with TAK’s way. KETONE gets clue from the mistress, SANDY, and takes pictures. She quarrels with the sergeant, JOE when she is going to leave after taking few pictures. The young woman, LILY, appoints KETONE to investigate her husband, CHEONG who has disappeared. KETONE suspects that CHEONG is being kidnapped after listening to CHEONG’s telephone recording message. However, JOE refuses to open file for this case. KETONE is mad.… ...

KETONE has an appointment with MAN. KETONE expresses that she has no confidence in man. JOE makes use of two girls to sell illegal drugs to LAN and takes the chance to arrest him. However, LAN escapes away. LAN meets KETONE. KETONE helps JOE to arrest LAN. However, KETONE’s act scares MAN away. LONG finds that CHEONG must have been trapped in Tai Po. KETONE asks JOE to burst into the house to save CHEONG. However, they only see a girl, LING. KETONE finds the case very strange. LILY receives an authorization letter issued by CHEONG with his signature. It authorizes LING to take the seals of the insurance company. KETONE suggests examine the handwriting by a forensic expert. KETONE places an overhearing mechanism in LING’s office. KETONE’s uncle, MING, volunteers to help. KETONE follows LING. KETONE and TAK follow LING to the pub. They overheard LING argues with a director, MAN. Unexpectedly, LING lets MAN to supervise another sales team which is a very strange arrangement. Later, KETONE and TAK find that MAN died at his home. JOE suspects LING. KETONE does not agree. The police finds that there is CHEONG’s finger-print on the murder weapon. They even find out that CHEONG has rented a resort bungalow. LING points out that CHEONG has already jumped into sea to kill himself. KETONE and TAK go to a lawyer firm for a business meeting. TAK takes the chance to arrange match-make meeting for KETONE. KETONE is very embarrassed. JOE’s colleague, SHENG, forces JOE to go to the nightclub. Joe is even forced to go out with a nightclub girl. KETONE meets JOE at the nightclub entrance when JOE is with the nightclub girl. KETONE despises JOE.… ...

BOWIE eavesdrops on JOE’s male chauvinist point of view and is very upset. KETONE advises BOWIE to freeze JOE’s financial support and keep a close watch to him. BOWIE introduces JOE to invest in fund. JOE is mad at MING has questioned him too much and refuses to buy. TAK finds LING who has had some strange behaviour during a meeting. TAK suspects LING. JOE cannot concentrate at work as he is vexed with BOWIE who is too suspicious. Sir CHAN scolds JOE. SHING reckons that BOWIE has misunderstood that JOE has had an affair with the Mamasan. KETONE knew that she has wronged JOE and help to make JOE and BOWIE reconcile. However, JOE discovers that there is an overhearing box at his key holder. JOE leaves angrily. MING points out that LING has sold all her shares to other director and resigned. TAK tells his doubt. TAK follows LING and get two important clues. MING finds LING’s address. KETONE and TAK hurry to see LING. TAK gives LING a call so as to tempt her leave home. He then bursts into her home and investigates a girl. LING returns and blames TAK and KETONE. TAK finds out LING’s real identity. Meanwhile, LILY appears with a knife and pierces LING. In fact, the girl in the house is the real LING. TAK advises KETONE to LILY’s case as an example. It leads a staff, YING, talks about KETONE’s father. MING asks for the details about KETONE’s father, all keep their mouth shut. KETONE feels very guilty when she heard that JOE and BOWIE are still quarrelling. BOWIE is sick. KETONE brings her to see the doctor. JOE hurries to the clinic. JOE advises BOWIE not to get acquainted with KETONE. BOWIE is very disappointed to see JOE who is still a male chauvinist. BOWIE’s boss, YIP’s dog has disappeared. He appoints TAK to search for his dog. TAK asks his staff to find the dog within three days.… ...

TAK goes to CHING’s restaurant to search for the dog. However, he is in vain. He then posts some bill nearby. KETONE asks BOWIE why she is in a mood. KETONE sees YIP and WAI. She praises them who are model husband and wife. BOWIE makes up her mind after listening to KETONE’s comment on YIP and WAI. All posts are being torn off. It was CHING’s deed. In fact, the dog has saved CHING’s life. CHING is reluctant to hand over the dog to hem. YIP finds that his dog dare not to get close to WAI and him. He suspects that somebody has maltreated his dog. He asks TAK to investigate. BOWIE is pregnant. BOWIE is very excited. TAK and KETONE follow WAI. They discover that WAH, also a detective, is following them. YIP questions BOWIE why she wants to get married in a sudden. BOWIE points out that it is because YIP who does not want to divorce WAI. Hence, BOWIE has no alternative but to marry JOE.… ...

WAI and BOWIE have a big quarrel. YIP leaves with WAI. BOWIE makes up her mind. KETONE sees that BOWIE takes wedding picture with JOE as usual. KETONE questions BOWIE. YIP finds out that BOWIE has resigned and will get married very soon. He is in a dilemma. On the wedding day, JOE receives a call from BOWIE. BOWIE claims that she will not show up. JOE questions KETONE. KETONE tells JOE the truth. JOE suffers a great blow. JOE announces to call off the wedding. WAI arrives and accuses BOWIE who has competed with her for YIP. YIP proposes to divorce WAI. WAI begs BOWIE to give up YIP. YIP goes to the police station to explain the case. JOE hits YIP. BOWIE meets JOE. She accuses JOE who only concentrated at work and always neglects her. JOE is shocked. YIP and BOWIE intend to leave Hong Kong to UK to live anew. BOWIE is glad. YIP questions WAI where is his dog. YIP postpones his plan to UK. BOWIE is very disappointed. The next day BOWIE heard that YIP will meet WAI and is very dissatisfied. The refuse collector witnesses somebody fallen down from the flat. JOE discovers the victim is WAI. She suspects that it was a murder case. The coroner points out that WAI’s body got a fresh bite from a dog. JOE thinks that it was his dog’s deed. Later, he finds out that his dog has died for a few days. BOBBY bites TAK’s customer, JOE finds out that it was BOBBY who bit WAI. Moreover, police got fabric belonged to BOWIE on WAI’s nail. BOWIE is thus being prosecuted. KETONE reminds BOWIE to recall any witnesses that could prove her innocence. BOWIE thinks of a homeless wanderer. BOWIE asks this homeless wanderer to be her witness. Unexpectedly, this wanderer is an unreliable person. All evidences are against BOWIE. When BOWIE witnesses that JOE is the prosecutor, she faints at court.… ...

JOE picks up the ring that BOWIE proposed marrying him on the beach. He fills with emotion and cries. KETON and TAK go to worship WAI’s tomb. They meet WAH and find out that WAI had suspected somebody did want to kill her. KETONE and TAK reckon that YIP must have kept some secret and WAI had threatened YIP with this secret that lead to her death. On the opening of Ching Kee Restaurant, KETONE arrives at the restaurant and tells JOE that she got some glue. They go to WAI’s home again and search for some clues. They eventually find a mini video-camera. The judge allows to release BOWIE on bail in view of the new evidence. JOE suspects that the guy wearing a long coat is YIP. KETONE tells BOWIE that YIP is a suspect. BOWIE is in doubt. JOE meets BOWIE who is very sick. He accompanies her to see doctor. YIP sees JOE and BOWIE together and is very jealous. YIP heard that his firm postpones his UK employment.… ...

BOWIE wakes up and her nose bleeding terribly. She asks JOE to help. BOWIE is in coma. JOE thinks that YIP has beat BOWIE. JOE beats YIP. YIP accuses JOE. Sir CHAN demands JOE to suspend from office temporarily. JOE intends to burst into YIP’s home. KETONE stops JOE and promises to help him. KETONE finds a few photo album with YIP and WAI’s pictures. However, some photos are missed. JOE and KETONE go to the photo printing shop to investigate. Unexpectedly, they got some clue. YIP is accused of killing his wife. YIP claims that he is innocent. MING comments that it was WAI’s mini video-camera that helps to clear the case. KETONE believes that there is something wrong. KETONE finds that WAI and YIP had met three hours before WAI died. She then reads all their love letters and discovers the last letter that WAI sent to YIP and gets to know about the truth.

KETONE hands over WAI’s last letter and proves that YIP is innocent. However, sir CHAN told them that YIP has already committed suicide. JOE attends court. Sir CHAN commends that JOE is a very good police. However, sir WONG points out that JOE showed very poor discipline. JOE is very upset. The doctor points out that YIP has died and BOWIE’s baby requires guidance. JOE agrees to be the baby’s guidance. LONG’s wife, MANN, has received many strange calls and email. The Kuk’s Company appoints KETONE to investigate. KETONE, YING and MING become undercovers. They find three male suspects. JOE works as a security guard at the Kuk’s Company. He is shocked to see them. KETONE pretends to work overtime and investigate the boss’s son, HANG’s office. She discovers that he got many strange pictures and dolls. Meanwhile, HANG and his elder sister, TINA and their father, LIN, are having a meeting.… ...

KETONE finds HANG very suspicious. MANN believes in fortune-telling and believes that HANG will bring him bad luck. She thus sends HANG to UK when he was ten. HANG requires additional manpower for his new project. KETONE volunteers to join his team. TINA is very dissatisfied. KETONE receives many abnormal email and phone calls when she worked overtime. JOE finds that KETONE has disappeared. He worries a lot for her. The next morning JOE gives KETONE a diamond necklace build in with a trace detector. She presses its button and JOE will appear. KETONE is moved. KETONE is suffered from sexual harassment. This news spread all over the company. KETONE finds the case very strange. JOE spoils MICHAEL and YING’s appointment. When CHING is delivering take-away food to the Kuk’s Company, MICHAEL takes the chance to insult JOE and CHING. He even accuses CHING stealing watch. CHING scolds JOE. JOE is very upset.… ...

KETONE mediates to make CHING and JOE reconcile. The press reports that HANG is a licentious top management. LIN goes to ask Uncle LAW to help. LAW blames LIN who does not believe in his words. There are negative news against HANG that brings adverse effect to the stock price of the Kuk’s Company. TINA demands HANG to clear the case. JOE and KETONE go to the temple located in Sai Kung to pray. They witness LIN crash his car to the hill and explodes. TINA is very angry to learn that she only received 20% of LIN’s wealth while HANG got 80%. She blames HANG who brought bad luck to LIN. HANG is very upset. HANG finds out a letter in LIN’s room. LIN praises HANG who got the talent and hoped that HANG and TINA would work together for the prosperity of the Kuk’s company. HANG tries to work hard but TINA still discourages HANG. KETONE and JOE suspect that LIN had committed suicide. TAK and MING investigate LAW.… ...

KETONE goes to the KUK’s family and sees that HANG is summoning LIN’s soul in his room. When LIN finds there are footsteps on the rice, he is very irritated. In fact, HANG had received psychological treatment from a psychotherapist, CHI. CHI points out that HANG always blames himself causing LIN’s death. He hopes KETONE would help HANG. TINA rings Mr. KWOK to discuss about the merging issue. At night, TINA sees LIN’s spirit who is blaming TINA and points out all her mistakes. TINA is shocked. TINA asks KETONE to investigate whether spirit really exists. KETONE sets up a CCTV system at KUK’s home. KETONE prepares breakfast for JOE. They feel there is something wrong. KETONE finds an address and a number on the toilet mirror. They arrive at a temple according to the address and see a mysterious person. KETONE chases after this person and falls carelessly. KETONE finds out that CHEUNG is LIN’s ex-partner. CHEUNG committed suicide after embezzling the public funds. His daughter, YIN, was being sent to the orphanage. On the press conference for the merge of Kuk’s Company and Cheung Kai, MANN brings a nun, MARIA, to affirm that TINA is not LIN’s blood daughter, hence, she is not the authorized person to sign any document. The lawyer points out that MANN and the other two directors will form a committee to take charge of the Company. TINA suffers a great blow. TAK knew that there is a master-man behind the scene and TINA is the victim. KETONE hopes that TINA and HANG would reconcile and cure his psychological illness. When MANN heard about the case, she blames KETONE who is too nosy. MANN immediately scolds LIN who should not wander everywhere when she stepped in the house. TAK and JOE arrive at a temple and knew that something bad would happen. KETONE received a call from TAK and immediately brings HANG to see LIN. TINA sees that LIN is at the cliff edge. TINA blames LIN who only believes in pre-destiny and neglects their feelings. TINA prefers to have nothing but his love. HANG arrives. LIN falls down carelessly. LIN is happy to see TINA and HANG reconcile and lives harmoniously. LIN even tells them his plot. LONG keeps away from MANN. MANN tells them her story with LIN and how they got to know each other. She cooperates with LIN for some selfish motive. LONG blames MANN who betrayed his family and herself for the sake of climbing the ladder. He drives MANN away angrily. KETONE and JOE celebrate in the pub. KETONE wants to leave in a sudden. All are shocked. JOE glimpses at the photo with KETONE and BOWIE at the wall and knows why KETONE has to leave.… ...

PING ask JOE to express his love to KETONE when enjoying the meteor rain. BON asks KETONE to help them find MANN. They hope that MANN and LONG would reconcile after watching the meteor rain. JOE knew that KETONE has gone to Shenzhen to look for MANN. He is very disappointed. KOE and KETONE watch the meteor rain separately. Both are filled with emotions. At dawn, MANN appears when LONG is going to leave with BON. BON is glad. The three witness the lucky star when they are hiding under the shelter to avoid the rain. They look at one another. JOE and KETONE receive a call from the hospital. They are shocked to see BOWIE. BOWIE has woken up. KETONE tells TAK that she does not know how to handle the situation. TAK comforts KETONE and advises her that the crucial thing is JOE’s what JOE wanted. KETONE accompanies BOWIE at the hospital. BOWIE hopes that she could reunite with JOE. KETONE is in a dilemma.

BOWIE finds that JOE and KETONE has had an extraordinary relationship. KETONE keeps away from JOE. JOE is very upset. TAK meets WAH and is shocked to see that he got an invoice issued from a hotel in Rome. KETONE again asks TAK about his father, LUN, and why he left home. TAK does not answer KETONE. BOWIE claims that she cannot live without JOE and even wants to take abortion. KETONE makes up her mind. KETONE proposes to break up with JOE. JOE kisses KETONE and expresses that he only loves her. They find a message from KETONE and guesses that LUN is in league with the kidnappers. LUN points out that the kidnappers intended to kill the hostage. JOE and his people arrive the seashore. JOE is being shot down for the sake of saving KETONE. KETONE questions LUN. LUN expresses that he has lied to her regarding the prison case and why he joined in kidnapping case. JOE sees that KETONE treats him coldly and even keeps away from him, he is heart-broken. BOWIE tells JOE that she has to go to US to give treatment to her baby with lung-disease.
