CHING helps KEUNG to move to Sha Tau Kok. KEUNG`s neighbour, TIAN, thinks that CHING is a peeping Tom. CHING even breaks the Feng Shui spell for the sake of saving TIAN`s daughter, TE. He offended everybody in the village. TIN`s son, CHUNG, get along well with CHING. They intended to move to town together. CHING quarreled with a cop, CHI, in a pub. CHING tells CHI that he was also a cop. CHI did not believe in his word. The reporters took their photos. Their supervisors, Sir KO, rebuked them. CHING lost his wallet in Shenzhen, he thought that it was LAN`s deed as LAN has had a quarrel with him. When he was going to scold LAN, he found that he had left it in the hotel. LAN intended to check her lover, CHOI`s news from TIAN. However, CHOI`s aunt, SHUI, gives LAN a difficult time. CHING`s performance was bad. He was then being transferred to station at Sha Tau Kok. He was under a very demanding supervisor, KAM……

2. Episode 2

CHING was following CHUN on patrol. CHING was jealous to see that CHUN was so popular everywhere. SHUI accused SHING who had harassed TE. However, TE liked CHING and felt very happy. CHI reported to KAM CHING`s performance. CHING felt that CHI always found fault on him. TE wanted to work in the kindergarten in town. Her mum, FUNG, suggested TE to do it first and reported to her grandma afterwards. Her uncle, YAM, told SHUI the case. SHUI was very angry and strongly opposed TE`s decision. TE was very disappointed. LAN tried to seek for a location in the boarder area. SHIU spoke bad words on her so as to make the landlord refuse her. LAN`s son, KWAN, was studying in LAN`s school. FUNG left sadly. CHI demanded to join the boarder team. KAM wanted CHING to join too. CHING was a snake phobia due to his childhood experience. Unfortunately, he fell into a snake cave in an action.

3. Episode 3

Aired: 2/16/2000

CHING took out his mum, YING`s, tips bag. He then got the courage to escape away from the snake cave and arrested the refugee successfully. When CHING was searching a car, SHUI teased him in public. CHING was very angry. CHUNG was lazy in his study. He spent most of his time in playing mahjong. SHIU suddenly arrived. CHUNG made use of YING to get rid of SHIU. CHING backed home. He was shocked to see SHIU. SHUI opposed CHUNG to rent CHING`s home. YING persuaded SHIU. LAN saw a guy who looked like CHOI. She swam over the boarder. CHING arrested LAN. LAN was very upset. LAN opened a boutique opposite to TIAN`s shop. TIAN`s business dropped since LAN`s opening. SHIU was very dissatisfied. TE worked at her ex-classmate, VICKY`s company. She was being instigated to buy the London stock. Consequently, she lost a lot and also involved YING into trouble. CHING was very angry to see YING being cheated.

4. Episode 4

Aired: 2/17/2000

TE told her good friend YU, how she was cheated. YAM eavesdropped on their conversation and misunderstood that YU had made TE pregnant. TIAN and his friend took revenge on YU for TE. TE had got a job in a fitness centre. She made use of her sexy body to attract the customer. YING found out that a merchant, fat KAO, was selling faked watch. She scolded him. KAO bursts into a towering anger. Fortunately, a cop, PING, helped YING to get rid of the difficult situation. YING was deeply attracted by PING. A robber, HO, threatens LAN to make KWAN get the ransom at the boarder. CHING was smart. He saved KWAN and arrested HO. CHING earned a big merit. He took this opportunity to demand KAM to promote him. YAM made a false wedding photo to set CHOI up. LAN found CHOI`s wedding photo and was very disappointed. Soon LAN met CHOI in the street. She slaps CHOI. CHOI was shocked. LAN pretended that she was all right. In fact, she was heart-broken.

5. Episode 5

Aired: 2/18/2000

CHOI expressed to TIAN that he wanted to reconcile with LAN. All are shocked. LAN wore a sexy dancing suit. Some bad guys wanted to take advantage on her. CHOI beat those bad guys. LAN noticed that CHOI was still very concern about her, she was vexed. CHOI asked KWAN to send a gift for him to LAN. LAN was mad. She did not allow KWAN to see CHOI again. CHING by chance discovered CHOI`s false wedding photo. He told LAN the case. LAN awoke and reconciled with CHOI. FUNG saw her younger brother who was delivering promoting leaflet wearing tight pants in the street. FUNG did not blame him but encouraged him instead. CHOI proposed to marry LAN. He lied that he would migrate to U.K. together with LAN and KWAN. He asked LAN to give him KWAN`s birth certificate. In fact, CHOI plotted to take away KWAN. CHING knew about CHOI`s plot. He intended to tell LAN the case but he was implicated falsely by CHOI instead.

6. Episode 6

Aired: 2/21/2000

CHING was mad at CHOI`s deed. TE asked GI and MIE to help. GI and MEI tried to test CHOI but was in vain. They made LAN trust CHOI more. YING and PING met TE. YING thought that TE liked PING. She asked CHING to chase TE for her good sake. CHING was forced to date TE. CHING met his ex-lover GIGI in the street. He pretended to be very intimate with TE. TE was so excited that she told everybody that she was dating. GI and MEI threatened YAM to give them evidence against CHOI. YAM tried hard to find CHOI`s real wedding photo. LAN slapped CHOI when she found out the truth. CHOI lied that he was now sterilized due to a car accident six months ago. He begged LAN to let KWAN stay with him. SHIU reminded LAN that she should think more about KWAN`s future. LAN was very confused.

7. Episode 7

TE was very obedient to CHING. CHING took the opportunity to play trick on her. PING and YING go shopping. PING bought a precious gift for TE. YING was jealous. YING felt that CHING would hinder her relationship with PING. She devised to make CHING move to Sha Tau Kok. TE was glad to see CHING move to Sha Tau Kok. YU was deeply attracted by KAM. YU secretly admired KAM. LAN was very nervous when she saw CHOI and KWAN getting along well. KWAN fainted at school and was being sent to the hospital. LAN could not apply a visa in time and she asked TIAN to take care KWAN. LAN arrived Hong Kong and lived temporarily in TIAN`s home. CHING told LAN about his childhood and the feeling of lacking father`s love. He advised LAN to consider let CHOI take KWAN away to U.K.. LAN saw that CHOI loved KWAN deeply and was very touched. CHOI repented in front of the ancestors at home. LAN was very soft-hearted and agreed to let CHOI take care KWAN.

8. Episode 8

LAN missed KWAN terribly. The marine police warned her to think thrice and could not take her words back. KWAN thought that he just went to U.K. for watching the football match. He was very excited. CHUNG envied KWAN who could migrate to U.K.. KWAN was shocked. He blamed LAN who had abandoned him. CHING tried his very best to convince KWAN. KWAN eventually agreed to follow CHOI. LAN discovered CHOI`s plot when she was listening to KWAN`s tape. LAN found out CHOI and his wife`s plot. LAN and CHING try to stop CHOI. CHOI denied. LAN showed him evidence. CHOI got nothing to say. CHOI was in great debt. He quarreled with TIAN`s family when he had failed in borrowing money from them. PING met WONG. YING worried a lot. YING immediately explained the case to PING but PING refused her politely. PING and her son, JOE, intended to move to live in their ancestral house in Sha Tau Kok. SHUI knew that PING had chased WONG in the past……

9. Episode 9

Aired: 2/24/2000

SHUI and YAM strongly believed that WONG and PING did have an affair. TIAN was enlightened. YING again expressed her love to PING. However, YING saw that PING and JOE were very intimate. She thought that he was a gay man. TIAN was reluctant to see people tease his fat body. He then went to the fitness centre to keep fit. TE was shocked to see TIAN. She kept away from him. TE bought some underwear for CHING. CHING found her very annoying and scolded her. TE was very upset and wandered around in the street alone. JOE met TE and comforted her. CHUNG and his friend attempted to burgle CHING`s home and were discovered. WONG begged CHING to forgive them. YING hated WONG and deliberately gave her a difficult time. Fortunately, CHING and CHUNG spoke good words to help WONG. WONG insisted CHUNG to move back home. CHUNG refused. PING convinced them for CHUNG`s sake. CHUNG felt grateful for PING`s help and praised PING. TIAN was very unhappy.

10. Episode 10

Aired: 2/25/2000

TIAN feared that PING would take WONG away. He went to the school to pick WONG home. He discovered that WONG had still kept PING`s engagement gift. SHUI and TIAN questioned WONG. WONG found them very annoying. Meanwhile, he heard the news that PING had just been sent to the hospital. He immediately went to the hospital. TIAN eavesdropped on PING and WONG`s conversation and knew that he had wronged them. He felt very guilty. TIAN apologized to WONG and the two reconciled. JOE liked TE a lot. PING suspected that TE was his fresh and blood daughter. LAN`s younger brother, GAT, had just arrived Sha Tau Kok from the countryside. He worked in LAN`s shop. YAM saw that GAT was dumb and he played trick on GAT. KEUNG always gave free tuition to KWAN. LAN felt grateful for his help. GI and MEI instigated LAN to consider KEUNG. However, CHING had blossomed love feeling on LAN after a long time contact. YING encouraged PING to date LAN.

11. Episode 11

Aired: 2/28/2000

LAN cooked some chicken for KEUNG as she did not know that he was a vegetarian. LAN blamed herself of knowing too little about KEUNG. CHING bought a lot of snacks so as to win LAN`s favour. LAN and KWAN were sick after eating those snacks. CHING asked KAM to prepare some herbal medicine for LAN. However, LAN put the medicine aside. LAN told KEUNG her feeling. KEUNG was shocked and embarrassed. CHING was very disappointed. YING intended to match-make CHING and LAN. JOE decided to chase TE. PING supported JOE. TE`s colleagues scandalized that TE had an indecent affair with his boss. SHUI rebuked TE. WONG supported TE and quarreled with SHUI. TE left sadly. When PING and JOE were jogging at the seashore, they heard that TE was shouting for help.

12. Episode 12

Aired: 2/29/2000

TE was being sent to the hospital. All thought that TE had attempted to commit suicide. JOE accompanied TE all along. TE was touched and eventually accepted JOE. SHUI and FUNG quarreled. SHUI moved to CHUNG`s place. YING and SHIU quarreled because of playing mahjong. SHUI left sadly. SHUI was hit by a robber in the street. CHING arrived in time and saved SHUI. YAM attempted to steal LAN`s goods but was discovered. YAM blamed TE. GAT felt sorry to involve TE into trouble. With CHING`s help, WONG and TIAN convinced SHUI to return home. YAM performs acrobatics in the street to attract customer but he hurt CHING mistakenly. LAN treats CHING`s wound. CHING was very confused. TE and JOE quarreled. PING apologized to TE on behalf of JOE. YAN thought that PING and TE were lovers. TE then announced that she was dating JOE. WONG speculated in the stock market and asked PING to lend her money. PING demanded WONG to admit that TE was his daughter.

13. Episode 13

Aired: 3/1/2000

In order to make PING lend her money, WONG lied that TE was his daughter. PING was glad and promised that he would not tell anyone this secret. WONG was vexed and felt guilty. She told PING the truth. PING was shocked but he still lent her money. JOE tried hard to win TIAN`s favour. TIAN did not accept his goodwill. TE was very embarrassed. KEUNG invited LAN to see an opera although he was not interested at all. KEUNG was drunk and stayed at LAN`s place. CHING was very disappointed. GAT went to a restaurant for an interview. YAM thought that GAT would replace his girlfriend`s post. He thus played trick on him. PING thought of the past. He wanted to reunite with YING. YING was glad that her wish could be fulfilled. Unexpectedly, PING was suffered from heart attack and his life was at stake ....

14. Episode 14

Aired: 3/2/2000

All were sad due to PING`s death. YING sighed that it was fate. JOE and TE went to the law firm to receive PING`s inheritance. JOE was very dissatisfied that PING had given eight million to TE. They thus refuse to accept such arrangement. There was rumour against TE. Many people suspected TE was PING`s illegitimate child. Although TIAN trusted WONG, he wanted TE to refuse the inheritance. TE agreed. YUNG encountered a robbery and made GAT drop all take-away. YAM took the opportunity to instigate the boss to fire GAT. Fortunately, YUNG spoke good words for GAT. YUNG visited TIAN`s home. SHUI liked YUNG a lot. YUNG backed to the countryside to give birth to a child secretly. She believed that YAM would not accept her. She thus proposed to break up with him. CHUNG again involved in trouble and was extorted for over one million. He asked TE for help. TE was forced to take PING`s inheritance to save CHUNG.

15. Episode 15

Aired: 3/3/2000

TIAN suspected TE and felt sorry for her deed. He suspected whether TE was his fresh and blood daughter. YAM instigated TIAN to test DNA. TIAN awoke. YUNG succeeded in chasing GAT. YAM hit GAT. LAN by chance found out that YUNG intended to use GAT. YUNG denied and claimed that LAN was always biased against her. GAT listened to LAN`s word and broke up with YUNG. However, YUNG knew that GAT was soft-hearted. GAT eventually ignored LAN`s advice and stayed with YUNG. LAN was very disappointed. LAN and GAT won in a lucky draw and got the chance to travel to Hong Kong. GAT fell carelessly and her head crashed onto the ground. GAT was then suffered from cornea detachment. He was in need of a surgery. CHING accompanied LAN all along in the hospital. YING asked CHING whether he liked LAN. CHING admitted frankly. LAN eavesdropped on their conversation and was shocked.

16. Episode 16

Aired: 3/6/2000

CHING was shocked to see LAN. He lied that he just wanted to test how deep he loved KEUNG. GAT received YUNG`s card. LAN was eventually touched and accepted YUNG. KEUNG quit and decided to concentrate on his planting site. JOE did not have a job. He spent all his time in stock speculation. He even neglected TE. LAN was dissatisfied with KEUNG who promised to dine at WONG`s home without her consent. LAN strongly refused to reconcile with the TIAN`s family. TIAN was sick. YAM disclosed his DNA case. WONG was shocked. The next morning TIAN and SHUI wanted to take TE to the clinic secretly. WONG stopped them. CHING burst into CHI`s home when he was trying to arrest the smuggler. CHI misunderstood that CHING was impolite to his wife, LING and beat CHING. Later, CHI apologized to CHING when he found out the truth. CHING and CHI eventually become friends. KEUNG and LAN quarrel with each other frequently. KEUNG felt that CHING did like LAN……

17. Episode 17

Aired: 3/7/2000

KEUNG and LAN compromise to break up temporarily to calm down. YING thought that CHING still got chance. GAT drew picture all days and inflamed his wound. GAT had to stay in the hospital. YUNG worried that GAT would become blind and decided to find another boyfriend. JOE lost a lot in the stock market. He asked TE to lend him money. TE promised to lend him money, however, she demanded JOE to mortgage his house to her in lest that he would lose his ancestral home. CHING helped YU to find out what KAM like earnestly. He encouraged YU to chase KAM. YU went to the opera workshop to see KAM. They sang Cantonese opera together. TE heard that JOE was dating some rich women. She was heart-broken and proposed to break up with him. TIAN misunderstood that TE and JOE`s broken up was because of TE was PING`s daughter. TIAN again questioned WONG. WONG cannot tolerate anymore and proposed a divorce. A movie star, KIM's wife, TSUI, beat YING……

18. Episode 18

KIM intended to hold a press conference to explain to the public his relation with YING. YING understood his intention and took the initiative to conceal the truth for his good sake. TSUI and KIM were touched. CHUNG believed in JOE`s news regarding the stock and was in great debt. GAT went to see YUNG soon after he was discharged from the hospital. Unexpectedly, he saw that YUNG was with her ex-lover. YUNG proposed to break up with GAT. GAT was disappointed in love. YAM sympathized with GAT. YAM and GAT then became good friends. The villagers commented on WONG`s divorce case and gave her a lot of pressure. The villagers even thought that her divorce might ruin the school reputation. WONG was under great pressure. JOE was forced to participate in the smuggling activities as he had seduced the triad leader`s girl. YU expressed to KAM his love. Although KAM liked YU, she could not accept him due to their large age gap……

19. Episode 19

GI and MEI feared that nobody could take care KWAN. They then were willing to become GAT`s scapegoat. LAN went everywhere to procure enough money to bail them out. CHING intended to ask SHUI to help but LAN stopped him. SHUI took the initiative to reconcile with LAN. LAN was touched and accepted her goodwill. CHUNG asked SHUI to lend him money but SHUI could not render any help. TIAN heard that CHUNG and JOE had lost a lot in stock speculation. He intended to question JOE the detailed. However, JOE irritated TIAN. TIAN fainted and was being sent to the hospital. The debtor bothered LAN. GAT felt very sorry. GAT then participated in the smuggling activities so as to procure money for LAN. JOE instigated CHUNG and his friend to participate in the smuggling activities. CHUNG agreed to join. With YING`s encouragement, WONG went to the hospital to visit TIAN. WONG and TIAN eventually reconcile. WONG promised to let TE to have the DNA test……

20. Episode 20

TIAN heard that SHUI lied for CHUNG`s sake. However, he did not want TE to be CHUNG`s scapegoat. He tried to convince CHUNG to confess. SHUI alerted that she had spoiled CHUNG too much. SHUI apologized to TE. JOE had no way out and robbed TE and YING in CHING`s home. YING suppressed JOE and JOE was under arrest. CHING discovered that GAT had made use of his shop to hide some smuggling goods. LAN beat CHING at the back and made him fainted. LAN left with GAT. CHING quarreled with LAN because of GAT. LAN refused to hand over GAT to CHING. In order to procure enough moeny to send GAT away, LAN again worked in the Karaoke. CHING tried hard to convince GAT to confess. LAN rebuked CHING who betrayed her for the sake of promotion. KEUNG heard that GAT was in great trouble, he found a lawyer for LAN. LAN was touched. CHUNG and GAT were sentenced into the prison. GAT thought that CHING was right. He begged LAN to forgive CHING……
