The ruler of Tang Dynasty is afraid that the foreign tribes may one day attack his empire. Therefore he intructs the governor-general of Kansu province, FOK CHING WAI to re-construct the Yuk Mon Gate. WAI is a man who always talks big. In order to speed up the progress, he believes he should kill boys and girls to makes stacks. HUNG TIN YAU is sent to supervise the work. When he and his family reach there, he witnesses the collapse of walls. Many workers are buried and he rushes to save WU YAN, disregarding his own safety. WU YAN thanks him a lot. YAU and his family take temporary accommodation in WAI's house. SU CHUK's beauty attracts WAI. A filthy idea germinates in WAI's mind. TIN YAU has to work round the clock as the deadline is approaching while it is threatened by sand storms. WU YAN is aware of WAI's filthy idea and he tells YAU……

YAT FAY has grown up. After strict tests, PO CHEUK lets him go to find ARK KUT. On their way, YAT FAY and AH PO sees WAI's eldest son TING KWAI treats the tribal people hard, imposing heavy taxes on them. The people are angry but they dare not to show their anger. YAT FAY hates the FDKs. SIT PING robs ARK KUT's son BA TO. YAT FAY stops her. Hatred grows between the brother-and-sister as they do not know one another. BA TO leads YAT FAY to see ARK KUT. ARK KUT wants to know the YAT FAY's ability so he requests BA To to wrestie with him. YAT FAY wins the game. Sik LAN, BA TO's cousin is attracted by him. BA TO loves SIK LAN and he is jealous on seeing SIK LAN's reaction towards YAT FAY. He hates him as he knows that his little brother and sister were killed for them. As YAT FAY is a good fighter, ARK KUT tells him what has happened to his parents……

TIN YUK was to LONG TAT WONG to learn martial arts when he was young. As his father is honoured by the emperor, he goes to greet him. He loses his way in the desert and there he sees the reflected image of a graceful girl CHEUK MA and he is deeply impressed. YAT FAY wants to assess in WAI in the inaugaration ceremony but it is a vain attempt. However it has frightened WAI. CHIK CHIN CHIN is involved and luckily YAT FAY saves her. CHIN CHIN is attracted by him. AH PO brings YAT FAY to a prostitute when they meet CHIN CHIN. YAT FAY wants to get more information about WAI but she keeps tighted-lipped. YAT FAY leaves reluctantly. AH PO meets SIT PING and is impressed so he tries to stay close to her. TIN YUK cannot forget CHEUK MA thus he goes to bribe CHAT SI, her father. CHAT SI takes it so as to make his tribe strong. On their wedding day, CHAT SI gives CHEUK MA a sacred bottle from a Lama monastery……

4. Episode 4

In order to have a duel with WAL, YAT FAY kidnappes CHEUK MA. CHEUK MA misunderstands him, thinking that he is an evil man. To get away from being discovered, YAT FAY takes refuge in the porstitute. CHIN CHIN worries much about him. Although YAT FAY hates WAL he treats CHEUK MA politely and takes good care of her. CHEUK MA feels relieved. CHEUK MA tricks YAT FAY and poisons him fainted. She escapes but is caught by some thieves. Fortunately YAT FAY saves her. CHEUK MA understands YAT FAY's feeling and problem and this sows seeds of love in their hearts. YAT FAY wants to force WAI to have a duel with him. However the FOKs only are so selfish that they ignore CHEUK WAI's situation. She is hurt by a poisoned arrow. CHEUK MA realises her status quo in TIN YUK's heart. CHEUK MA does not want to beg the FOKs, she conceals the fact that she is hurt and finally is cured by PO CHEK……

5. Episode 5

Aired: 1/7/1991

For CHEUK MA's safety, YAT FAY brings her back to the FOK's unwillingly and this releases her from the danger of death. YUK TIN requests CHEUK MA to marry him after she is cured. However she has fallen in love with YAT FAY and turns his suggestion down. TIN YUK is angry. YAT FAY loves CHEUK MA deep but he must take revenge so he tries to concen?trate on learning martial arts. ARK KUT understands SIK LAN's idea so he asks YAT FAY to marry her. He refuses and this embarrasses her much. She hates CHEUK MA but she hides her feeling. She adopts YAT FAY as her brother and waits for the chance to kill her. AH PO tries his best to flatter SIT PING. SIT PING does not appreciate his act and scolds him. YAT FAY requests CHIN CHIN to get CHEUK MA's news for him. He is informed that she has recovered and feels relieved……

TIN YUK urges CHEUK MA to marry him again but she only loves YAT FAY. She is willing to devote her life. TIN YUK determines to kill YAT FAY. TIN YUK awares that YAT FAY is a good fighter as he nearly kills his father. He tries to trick YAT FAY by claiming that his rela?tives have been‧ killed in the former sacrifice. He wants to approach YAT FAY and get rid of him. CHIN CHIN appreciates YAT FAY much and is attracted by him. She wants to return to her motherplace with him after being set free but he only loves CHEUK MA and refuses her love. CHIN CHIN under?stands ‧that she should not force him so she lets it be and hopes to have falacity in next generation. CHING WAI wants to adopt CHIN CHIN as his wife. She knows that she is a sinful woman, thus she requests WAI to build goodish statue for her. CHIN CHIN has pity on CHEUK MA so she arranges the meeting for YAT FAY and her……

7. Episode 7

YAT FAY is deceived by TIN YUK and regards him as his intimate friend and discusses the plan of attacking Ching WAI with him. To weaken his manpower, TIN YUK backbites him in front of BA TO. TIN YUK pretends to have hurt seriously. He begs YAT FAY to bring him to PO CHEK so as to cure him. In fact he wants to get the medicine bringing eternal life. However it has been lost and he is disappointed. SIT PING misunderstands that AH PO and YAT FAY are her enemies. She questions AH PO who tries to defend YAT FAY. Finally she is convinced. To flatter SIT PING, AH PO claims that he has found some fortune which in fact belongs to him. To help CHEUK MA, CHIN CHIN makes a key for her from CHING WAI and leads her out.

8. Episode 8

Aired: 1/10/1991

CHIN CHIN helps CHEUK MA to escape. She arranges that she has been drowned in the river. CHING WAI does not believe and sends subordinates to search for her. CHEUK MA wants to meet YAT FAY. She impersonates a young man and unexpectedly meet SIT PING. She is hurt by SIT PING's horse. SIT PING appreciates her gust and takes her to look after her horses. YAT FAY knows about CHEUK MA's death and wants to get more news. CHIN CHIN tells him to truth, releasing him from worry. CHEUK MA thanks SIT PING for saving her life and teaches her the curtesy of a lady. SIT PING mistakenly thinks that CHEUK MA loves ?her. This causes many troubles. PO CHEK discovers TIN YUK who is searching for the medicine. TIN YUK hurts him and PO CHEK knows that the man is LONG TAT WONG's student. He is worried. CHEUK MA cannot tell SIT PING the truth though SIT PING loves her as she knows that SIT PING is YAT FAY's enemy……

9. Episode 9

To win over SITPING's heart, AH PO seeks help from TIN YUK. TIN YUK is attracted by her beauty and defeats her. After the fight, TIN YUK claims that he is not AH PO. SIT PING is attracted by TIN YUK. AH PO is angry with TIN YUK's betrayal of him. TIN YUK pretends to be good in front of SIT PING, making her think that he is a good person. In fact she has been t rapped. After YAT FAY assassination, CHING WAI become very careful and suspicious. Later he is seriously sick and turns to LONG TAT WONG to get the sacred medicine for eternal life. On seeing the FOK's hawk rest on TIN YUK's shoulder, YAT FAY suspects him. He tells TIN YUK that there are some people planning to assassin TING WAI. TIN YUK informs TING WAI at once. TING WAI sends subordinates to attack YAT FAY immediately. This makes YAT FAY understands TIN YUK's trick.

10. Episode 10

Aired: 1/14/1991

CHEUK MA cannot find YAT FAY in the tribe but is tricked by SIK LAN and falls into the trap of quick sand. She is taken to a cave beneath the trap. YAT FAY goes to find her and falls into the cave. There they meet and swear to be couples. BA TO wants to assassin TIN YUK to prove his talent but is caught. He is bribed and becomes his follower. CHEUK MA wants to enjoy their love in the cave and spends the rest of her life there but YAT FAY cannot forget his hatred. This puts him in a dilemma. Later they discover the way out. On their way out, they also find the sacred medicine of eternal life, so they bring it to PO CHEK. PO CHEK breaks LONG TATWONG's legs as he commits‧‧crimes. Al?though LONG TAT WONG manages to cure himself, he pretends that he is lame and cannot walk. Later he goes to fight with PO CHEK with TIN YUK. On the other hand, CHING WAI sends them to steal the sacred medic in for him.

11. Episode 11

Aired: 1/15/1991

LONG TAT WONG pretends to be disabled and goes to the Lama monas?tery with TIN YUK to steal the sacred medicine. However their attempt is in vain again. PO CHEK hurts TAT WONG and puts TIN YUK behind bars. YAT FAY tries to make YUK TIN repend, on knowing his real inten?sion but he turns to a deaf ear to his words. CHING WAI wants to save TIN YUK but is caught by YAT FAY. YAT FAY wants to kill him but he dares not to do so as this will endanger the innocent people. He sets CHING WAI free reluctantly. CHING WAI is angry as he loses face in the public. He wants to get rid of YAT FAY. On the other hand, TIN YUK tries to win over SIT-PING's heart so as to draw the gang to support his family. SIK LAN is shocked by the fact that YAT FAY loves CHEUK MA. She is so depressed that she accepts BA TO as her husband. However BA TO does not accept her suggestion as he knows that she does not love him. SIK LAN is embarrassed……

12. Episode 12

Aired: 1/16/1991

PAK CHUEN does not trust TIN YUK so he objects to SIT PIN's love with him. Unfortunately SIT PING is deceived and does not listen to his warning. CHING WAI discovers that ARK KUT is WU YAN. He sends people to kill him and blames PAK CHUEN to be the killer. After investiga?tion, YAT FAY believes that CHING WAI is involved in the case. ARK KUT is arrested and tortured by CHING WAI but he keeps his lips tight and CHING WAI cannot get any news from him. TIN YUK wants to flatter CHING WAI thus he releases ARK KUT and sends people to chase after him, hoping to find other riots. CHIN CHIN overhears it and tells TIN KWAI. She hopes to stir up quarrels between them. YAT FAY is informed about TIN YUK's plan and he manages to save ARK KUT. Everyone is happy as they know that CHEUK MA is pregnanted.

13. Episode 13

Aired: 1/17/1991

BA TO begs SIK LAN to marry him again and finally she is con?vinced. On their wedding day, he discovers that TIN YUK has sent subordinates to poison his tribe. He wants to stop them but he is killed at last. ARK KUT is shocked by his death. TIN YUK cannot forget CHUEK MA. In‧ order to flatter her, he sets trap to catch CHAT SI and releases him then. CHEUK MA knows him well and is not deceived. PAK CHUEN keeps an eye on SIT PING so as to prevent her from seeing TIN YUK. SIT PING goes out on her birthday and invites AH PO to go with her. She escapes on her way and AH PO is made angry. SIT PING meets YAT FAY and fights with him. SIT PING finds a copper ornament on the wall takes it away. PAK CHUEN is surprised when he finds SIT PING having the orna?ment. In fact it belongs to TIN YAU. He is afraid that she will discover her real identity. Thus he sends AH PO to destroy it. To make her happy. AK PO returns it to SIT PING……

14. Episode 14

Aired: 1/18/1991

In order to take YAT FAY's heart, SIK LAN claims that she will kill herself. YAT FAY is forced to escort her round the clock. CHEUK MA understands his difficult and does not blame. SIK LAW wants to poison CHEUK MA but the medicine is for her, not ?for CHEUK MA. Her condition is worsened. SIK LAN accuses CHEUK MA. YAT FAY does not listen to her thus she takes drugs to kill herself. Luckily she is saved by TAT WONG and TIN YUK. SIK LAN is depressed and TIN YUK makes use of the chance to sow seeds of hatred in her heart. She is persuaded to assist TIN YUK, working as a spy. PAK CHUEN finally understands that he cannot stop SIT PING from loving TIN YUK. Therefore he no longer opposes t o it but he warns her to be careful. YAT FAY invites chiefs of different tribes to disclose CHING WAI's crime but he acts faster arid PAK CHUEN helps him to kill the tribes. SIT PING does not know it……

15. Episode 15

Aired: 1/21/1991

SIT PING finds that CHEUK MA has been appointed as TIN YUK's wife. She is terribly angry. After CHEUK MA explains to her, she feels released. PAK CHUEN knows that TIN YUK still loves CHEUK MA, for SIT PING's sake he asks SIT PING to kill her. SIT PING is not so cruel so she sets her free secretly. On the way CHEUK MA is caught by TIN YUK and brings her home. CHING WAI's health condition is decaying so he urgently wants the sacred medicine. TIN YUK voluntarily shoulders the duty. In the Lama monastery, PO CHEK does not want to have any fight again so he promises to give them the medicine. TAT WONG persuades TIN YUK to share the medicine with him and this can make him more powerful and be competent to fight against TIN KWAI. TIN YUK wants CHEUK MA to accept him again but CHEUK MA tells him that she is bearing a baby. He takes her baby away……

16. Episode 16

Aired: 1/22/1991

SIT PING is shocked by the news of PAK CHUEN's being killed and YAT FAY is the killer. She wants to take revenge but she is not a good fighter. YAT FAY suspects that he is accused by a spy. To testify SIK LAN, he pretends to have been hurt. SIK LAN is trapped and she threatens YAT FAY to stay with her. ARK KUT is disappointed with SIK LAN's behaviour so he expells her. SIK LAN's love changes into hatred and she determines to learn from LONG TAT WONG so as to kill YAT FAY and CHEUK MA. CHEUK MA is tortured by TIN YUK but she does not-obey him. CHIN CHIN tries to seduce TIN YUK so as to sow seeds of hatred-between CHING WAI and him. She wants to create chance to set CHEUK MA free. YAT FAY woories so much about CHEUK MA that he goes to save her. With CHIN CHIN and PO LAY's help, he manages to release her.

17. Episode 17

Aired: 1/23/1991

SIT PING is taken in by TIN YUK, so she follows his instruction to regard YAT FAY as her brother, YAT FAY does not know the truth and is happy on seeing this. SIT PING tries hard to kill YAT FAY but she is unable to find his weak point. CHEUK MA faints and is discovered to have been poisoned by TIN YUK. YAT FAY tries to make her happy for the rest of her short life. SIK LAN tries to lurk YAT FAY but is discovered a man. To keep her secret she kills him in a cruel way. This makes YAT FAY believes that the man is killed by TIN WAI. To cure CHEUK MA, YAT FAY kidnaps TIN KWAI but his letter cannot reach TIN WAI as it is hidden by TIN YUK. It is discovered by TIN WAI. CHING WAI is angry and he claims that TIN KWAI is the only one to inherit his throne. TIN YUK is discontented. SIT PING does not want to see CHEUK MA stiffer. She requests TIN YUK to give CHEUK MA the medicine……

18. Episode 18

Aired: 1/24/1991

CHEUK MA wants to learn martial arts from the Lama monastery but she is discovered and she has to receive punishment by being burnt. Accidentally the fire cures her and everyone is happy. PO CHEK cannot break the rule of the Lama monastery but he knows that YAT FAY must learn the martial arts to safeguard the region. Thus he leaves the hints on CHEUK MA and they find a secret place to study it. SIT PING is trapped between YAT FAY and TIN YUK. She is confused and de?pressed. Ah Po wants to make her happy but does not know what to do. TIN WAI is being honoured by the emperor. In order to consolidate his power, he threatens the emerates of different tribes to support him or he will accuse them as rebellions. SIT PING does not want to do any harm to YAT FAY and CHEUK MA. She tries to persuade TIN YUK to leave them alone. TIN YUK suspects that she has betrayed him so he wants to kill her and declares that he does not love her……

19. Episode 19

Aired: 1/25/1991

LONG TAT WONG leads TIN YUK and SIK LAN to the Lama monastery. PO LAY is tricked and killed by them. LONG TAT WONG makes use of SIK LAN. Getting all her essence, they abandon her. She feels regret and finally she is saved by YAT FAY. LONG TAT WONG knows that PO CHEK will become alive again as a child. He suggests to have boys for sacred sacrifice. YAT FAY manages to have a faster step and saves PO CHEK's new life. LONG TAT WONG is hurt by YAT FAY. LONG TAT WONG knows that he cannot live long and thus he transfers all his strength to TIN YUK, hoping him to take revenge for him. TIN YUK makes use of CHIN CHIN to separate TIN KWAI and CHING WAI. He kills CHING WAI. Blaming that TIN KWAI is the killer, he sentences him to death and he manages to inherit CHING WAI's throne.

20. Episode 20

YAT FAY and the others agree to prosecute TIN YUK in front of the emperor. However they are lurked by TIN YUK's subordinates. CHIN CHIN wants to poison TIN YUK but her plan is disclosed. To protect her virginity, she kills herself. CHEUK MA knows that TIN YUK is stronger than YAT FAY so she begs SIK LAN to teach her martial arts and SIK LAN promises. TIN YUK asks YAT FAY to have a duel with him. CHEUK MA secretly goes to help him. Can she succeed in doing so? Who is able to defeat his enemy? Please find the answers in the final episode.
