Phyllis explains to Summer that Kyle isn’t interested in her and she should let her crush go.  Sharon confronts Noah about hooking up with Adriana after the weeding. Noah fires back by saying people can change and brings up her relationship with Adam. The Newman’s scramble to disarm the gunman while a family member is rushed to the hospital. Later, Congressman Wheeler overhears Abby tell Kyle about the horrible incident at the ranch. Nick and Avery talk about the bouquet that she caught at the wedding and what it means for their future.

After surviving the ordeal at the ranch, Victoria decides that she wants to expand her and Billy's legacy by having a baby. The Newman family gather at the hospital and discuss the fallout of the shooting. Avery and Nick are startled by Dylan when he arrives at the tack house with a gift for Faith. Dylan reveals that he is leaving for Chicago, for good. Nick excuses himself so Avery and Dylan can say their goodbyes. Michael presses Lauren to be completely honest with him. Lauren shoots down the idea of marriage counseling.

Phyllis tells Jack she backed out of their trip because she found Summer half naked in front of Kyle in his office. Jack offers to talk to Kyle but Phyllis thinks it's best if Summer interns for the Jabot fashion line with Neil. Neil has a heated conversation with Congressman Wheeler. Later, Wheeler is at the police station when he sees Bob brought it by Alex. Wheeler asks Paul to keep him updated on the progress of the case. Nikki and Victor return to the ranch for the first time since the shooting occurred. Tyler surprises Leslie when he says he is testifying for the prosecution in their father's case.

Jack and Victor decide to work together to bring down Wheeler. Once Wheeler shows up at the ranch house, they accuse him of sending the shooter to Victor and Nikki's wedding. Kevin pleas with Michael to rethink the separation with Lauren. Lauren shows up at the GCAC while Carmine is working behind the bar. Cane becomes worried with Katherine after she continuously shows severe forgetfulness at their lunch. Meanwhile, Chloe spots a box of expensive items marked as a donation to charity at Kay's mansion. Alex and Paul question Wheeler about his relationship with Victor.

Chloe urges Chelsea to tell Adam about their baby. Billy and Victoria continue to plan for their future baby. They run into Chloe at the hospital after their appointment with their fertility doctor. Billy asks Chloe if he can spend more time with Delia. Lily forces Tyler to face his true emotions about his father and his murder trial. Tyler opens up and reveals his real name to her. Cane learns that Katherine has diagnosed herself with Alzheimer's and urges her to go see a doctor and she agrees. Dylan is at a roadside bar when an unruly patron starts to harass the bartender. Nick surprises Avery with a romantic evening set up in her apartment.

Victoria asks Chelsea if things are really over for Adam and Chelsea since he was a different, happier person when they were together. Victor tells Nikki he has guards at the ranch and his own investigators working on figuring out who was behind the ambush on their wedding. Paul and Alex question Jack's relationship with Congressman Wheeler and his daughter Stephanie. Later, Jack and Victor decide they need to rethink their plan. Lily stops a fight between Cane and Tyler. Cane leaves to meet with Katherine. Katherine's doctor gives her a series of memory tests.

Tyler tells Leslie he isn’t going to let their disagreement get in between them anymore. Avery shows up and lets them know that they will have a ruling on Gus’ case today. Nick learns that there were complications with Dylan’s bail and that he spend the night on Avery’s couch. Nick offers Dylan his old bartending job back at The Underground. Later, Michael tells Kevin that Lauren is ready to give their marriage another shot. Jill accuses Adriana of stealing Katherine's box of items for charity.

Kyle tells Abby that Summer's crush on him will fade since she is now interning in the fashion division. Later, Summer sneaks into the Abbott mansion. Adam questions Victor's sincerity and wants to know what it will take to stop the war between them. Congressman Wheeler receives bad news from his lawyer. Later, he vows to take down Jack and Victor with him. Meanwhile, Leslie tells Tyler that their father will be released.

Later, Sharon tells Dylan about the proposal and he states that there may be hope for him and Avery. Chloe continues to try to convince Chelsea to pass her baby off as Dylan’s. Michael and Lauren try to spend an evening together for the first time in a while.

Victor and Adam agree to work together at Newman Enterprises. Victoria becomes jealous of their new-found relationship. Alex and Noah have a heated discussion about Adriana. Kyle tells Nick he will stay away from Summer but he should be aware that her new mature look with attract attention from other guys. Nick tells Avery he wants to have more kids with her. Later, Dylan tells Avery that she'll be an excellent mother. Katherine is shocked when she receives her test results. Tyler confides in Lily about all of his issues with Gus.

Lily makes Tyler promise her that he'll never kiss her again, and that they are just friends. Meanwhile, Katherine tells Cane that aside from Lily, no one else can know about her tumor. Cane tries to convince Katherine to tell Murphy and Jill about her diagnosis. Chloe tries to convince Chelsea to convince her to find a guy she can pass off as her baby's father.

Victor also announces that he plans on running Newman Enterprises with Adam and asks if his other children will return to the company. Chloe and Chelsea walk in on Alex questioning Kevin about the missing charity items from the Chancellor mansion. Kevin and Chloe accuse Adriana of stealing the missing items. Avery receives a shocking offer from Dylan.

Adam questions Victoria's motives after she makes a shocking announcement at Nikki's birthday dinner. Michael comes home to a romantic setting that Lauren prepared. Later, Lauren receives a text from Carmine asking if they can still be friends. An acquaintance from Billy's past entices him with a deck of cards he's shuffling.

Leslie rants to Tyler and Neil about Gus making her crazy at home. Leslie becomes fed up with Gus' efforts to make up for years of abandonment. Later, Gus grasps at his chest. Lily surprises herself when she finds herself becoming jealous of Tyler. Sharon drops by Newman Enterprises to clean out her desk. Adam tells her he went to see Chelsea and asks if she thinks he can fix things between them. After some prodding from Adam, Sharon reveals to him that Chelsea is pregnant. Nick and Avery make up after their argument about Dylan. They discuss their wedding plans as Avery realizes that she needs to tell Phyllis about their engagement.

Later, Nick eventually catches Summer at the club. Avery confronts Dylan, and suggests he leaves town because he's affecting her relationship with Nick.

Meanwhile, Chelsea admits to Chloe that she can't keep lying to Dylan. Lily tells Devon that Katherine's tumor was benign. Jill finds out that Katherine has asked Cane to take over Chancellor Industries. Kyle walks in during Summer's photo shoot with Mason. Summer turns up the sex appeal during the shoot in order to get Kyle to notice her.

Chloe and Kevin try to enjoy a spontaneous lunch date. Later, they agree that their marriage is in a rut. While telling Paul that he moved out to save his marriage, Michael is informed that Fen hasn't been to school in two days. Michael goes home and finds the deck of cards and the note that Carmine gave to Lauren. Lauren and Carmine enjoy some time away in Lake Geneva. Lauren eventually takes off, leaving an apology not for Carmine. Gus is well enough to leave the hospital, but he still won't discuss Rose with Leslie. Later, Leslie opens one of his letters and suspects that Gus had an affair with Rose. Jill continues to protest Katherine's decision of putting Cane in charge of Chancellor Industries.

Detective Sheryl Gordon helps Neil as he looks around his apartment after the robbery. Neil is shocked when he discovers his flashdrive was stolen. Michael questions Lauren about the deck of cards he found, but they're discussion is cut off by Paul calling to tell him about Fen being arrested. Paul asks Carmine what exactly is going on between him and Lauren. Paul warns Carmine to not cross any lines. When Victor addresses the issue of Adam possibly being the father of Chelsea's baby, Adam quickly shoots the idea down. Billy confronts Carmine about lying and calling into work sick.

Avery turns down Dylan's request to come meet up with him. Feeling conflicted; she begins to write an important letter to Nick. Summer tells Nick that he needs to let her grow up and make her own choices. Nick informs Jack and Phyllis that Kyle is not someone he wants Summer hanging around with. In order to keep his job, Carmine offers to play a game of cards with Billy. Cane brings Katherine home from the hospital.

While Victoria is upstairs, Billy accidentally leaves a poker chip on the floor. Victor stops by to inform Victoria that Jabot is back in Jack's hands. Victoria tells Victor that she wants Adam out of Newman Enterprises. Later, Adam tells Victor that they should make Newman a private family company again. Paul questions Lauren about Carmine and tells her to fight for her marriage. Michael tells Kevin that he thinks Lauren has crossed a line she can't come back from. Meanwhile, Carmine gets upset when Lauren won't call him back. Chelsea is furious that Adam keeps bringing up the baby the lost. After he stops by for a house call, Nikki invites Dr. Costner to stay for dinner.

Dylan admits to Chelsea that he and Avery were once involved. Chelsea gives him the chance to walk away if he still wants to be with Avery. When Victor questions Abby about Victoria's intentions with Newman, Abby refuses to take sides. Later, Victoria asks Nick and Abby to help her buy enough Newman stock to kick Adam out of the company. Later, Victoria hires a P.I. to uncover dirt on Adam. She wants to know what he was going to reveal about Victor before he was shot. Leslie asks Gus to tell her who Rose was. Tyler helps Gus as he struggles to breathe and they call the EMT's for help. Avery tells Nick that she wishes they could pretend that Dylan never came into town. They go to dinner and try to enjoy a night out.

Jack plans a romantic evening for Phyllis. Later, when Phyllis returns from her meeting, she's floored to see Traci. Traci informs them that she plans on staying in Genoa City indefinitely. Carmine shows up at Lauren's and tells her he doesn't want things to stop between them. Lauren tells him that she wants her life and family back. Lily and Cane struggle to make time for each other in the midst of their heavy work schedules. Leslie and Tyler struggle with Gus' death. Tyler confesses that he worried that one way or another that he would lose his father again. While planning Gus's funeral, Leslie thinks about inviting Rose. When Fen tries to spend time with Summer, she tries to leave and he questions if she's meeting up with Kyle. Later at the gym, Fen confronts Kyle.

When Michael confronts Lauren, she asks if he could blame her if she was having an affair. After a heated discussion, Michael goes out for a drink and sees Carmine tending bar. Chelsea tells Chloe that she's going to come clean to Dylan, and tell him that he's not the baby's father. Dylan shows Chelsea the drawing of the cradle he wants to make for the baby. Sparks begin to fly between them, and they share an intense kiss. Kevin and Chloe try to agree that their stealing has to stop. Nick tells Avery that he wants things to be the way they were before Dylan came to town. Sharon shows up to Adam's in a sexy maids outfit and they passionately kiss. When she leaves, Adam calls Victor to tell him that he found the money to buy out the public investors.

Avery finds Dylan at the bar, and gives him back his dog tags. Nick is floored when he sees them there together. Phyllis overhears Traci tell Jack her concerns about their relationship. Phyllis uses work as an excuse to get out of their dinner plans. At On The Blvd, a suspicious Michael questions Carmine. Later, Michael puts the pieces together and goes home to confront Lauren. Leslie and Neil visit the police station to get updates on the burglary in Neil's apartment. Fen tells Lauren that he loves Summer but knows that she doesn't feel the same way. Lauren tells him to not give up on her. Meanwhile, Summer asks Kyle to take her to the senior prom.

Nick and Avery promise never to be apart again. Later, Jack tells Nick to stop blaming Kyle for Summer's behavior. Later, Phyllis Summer to forget about Kyle. Fen asks Summer to the prom, but she turns him down. Summer determines to get Kyle to go to the prom with her. Paul and Alex review the details about the break-in at Neil's. Later, Alex arrests Chloe after he finds her with a lock box full of jewelry at Crimson Lights. Kevin insists that Chloe is innocent. Lauren tells Carmine she'll do anything she can to get Michael back. Michael remains uncertain if he can forgive Lauren.

Meanwhile, Billy joins an old friend for a poker game. Michael makes arrangements for Chloe's court hearing. Kevin decides that he has to confess in order to help Chloe. Tyler tells Leslie that he's not planning to go to his father's funeral in Milwaukee. Later, Tyler visits his mother's grave and breaks down.

Someone watches Lily, Cane, Tyler, Leslie, and Neil after Gus' funeral. Leslie remains determined to learn about Rose. Phyllis makes a strong effort to get along with Traci, but struggles as she watches the Abbott family bond. Avery tells Phyllis that she is taking things slow with Nick. Adam and Victor are at an impasse when it comes to trust. As Victor leaves, Sharon shows up, and Adam passionately kisses her. While playing poker at the GCAC, Billy gets a call from Victoria. He says he'll be home in time for their special night, but an emergency at the restaurant is going to delay him. When he gets home, Victoria questions Billy.

Michael cuts a work release deal for Kevin. Chloe wants to know how Kevin will make things up to her, and tells him that saying sorry won't cut it. Nick assures Avery that things are alright with them and that he's been distracted about Summer. Meanwhile, Courtney tells Summer to invite Fen to prom so that Nick won't suspect that she is planning something with Kyle. Victor tells Adam to cut Sharon out of his life. Meanwhile, Chelsea determines that Dylan is the father of her child and that no one will ever know the truth.

Kyle receives an important text from Summer saying she's in trouble. Michael tells Kevin that Carmine in sleeping with Lauren. Kevin kicks Carmine out of Crimson Lights. On his way out, Carmine runs into Lauren.

When Phyllis arrives at the penthouse, she's stunned to see Fen and Kyle fighting at Summer's party. Nick, Michael, and Lauren all come by to pick up their kids. Kyle tells Nick that he needs to ease up on Summer. Later, Phyllis tries to get Nick to give Summer some breathing room. When she leaves, Nick makes an important phone call. Jack gets upset that Traci feels the need to protect him from Phyllis. Abby figures out that it was Michael that tried to choke Carmine. Abby relays this information to Alex, while Paul overhears. Sharon tells Dr. Watkins that she feels lost and lonely after having trusted Adam.

Later, Adam thinks back about the last time he was with Chelsea and questions the timing of her pregnancy. After they have an important meeting, Jill tells Cane that he's too nice to be CEO.

Later, another one of Neil's journal entries goes up online. Kevin hacks into the website and finds out where the IP address is coming from. Victoria tells Victor that their family will never be united while Adam is still involved. Victoria soon realizes her father doesn't trust Adam any more than she does. Meanwhile, Adam wants Billy to convince Victoria to concentrate on having a baby. Chloe is frustrated at all the past due bills for Crimson Lights. She considers selling the shop.

When Jack asks Billy to take Traci off his hands, Billy says that he can't and that is focused on having another child with Victoria. While Victoria gets stuck meeting with Victor and Adam, Billy decides to meet up with an old friend for a game of cards. Victor tells Adam that he's sure that Victoria and him can find some common ground. When Phyllis returns to the penthouse, she is told that her water and power will be out for weeks. Jack visits and asks Phyllis about when she'll move back in with him. Lauren ignores a text from Carmine as she tells Michael that she can't believe how she screwed things up between them. Later, Fen comes home and shocks Michael and Lauren.

Billy tells Victoria that he doesn’t want to have a baby if she only sees it as a way to one-up Adam. Billy encourages Victoria to relax and try to focus on being happy away from Newman Enterprises. With the deal being closed for the Newman buy back, Victor asks Adam and Victoria to stop quarreling. When they can’t seem to reach an agreement, Victoria decides to leave the company. Chloe considers selling Crimson Lights to Dylan. When she fails to tell Kevin, he gets upset and demands answers. Phyllis tells Nick that the best way to get through to Summer is by telling her the truth about Cassie’s death. Phyllis believes that Summer needs to know how losing Cassie affected her friends and family. When Dylan runs into Billy at the gym, he tells him that he’s buying his own business and won’t be available to work at On the Blvd. When the fortune teller stops by Crimson Lights, she tells Chelsea that the father of her baby wants to be a part of it’s life. Meanwhile, Adam goes to the gym and finds Billy, Nick, and Dylan working out.

Adam waits at the hospital while Dylan and Chelsea finish up with the doctor. When they leave, Adam approaches the doctor. Meanwhile, Dylan finds out that Chelsea and Billy have a child together. When Noah visits Sharon, he finds her looking at an old photo album as she reminisces about the past. Neil is disappointed to hear that Leslie wants to leave Jabot. When Neil asks Devin to take over her job, Devon reveals that he’s considering a job offer in London. Roxanne gets upset that Devon hasn’t included her in his decision.

Lily apologizes to Cane for missing part of her surprise party and says she had no idea what he was planning since he told her he was out of town. When Dylan arrives, he’s told that Chelsea is fine, and that it’s her high blood pressure that caused the dizziness. Chelsea tells Adam that he needs to leave her alone. While packing up Crimson Lights, Chloe tries to cheer up Kevin with all the good things she says will come from working with Chelsea. When Gloria and Michael have a drink at the GCAC, she is shocked to find out that he’s moving out because Lauren cheated. Meanwhile, Carmine goes to see Lauren.

Later, Lily confronts Neil about the recent blog post. Neil explains that the hacker has twisted his words. Kevin traces the blogger’s location to the public computer at the GCAC. Dylan comes to pick up his last paycheck from Billy, and informs him that he bought Crimson Lights. Billy calls his buddy Ken and asks to be dealt into a game.

Alex and Kevin continue their hunt for the blogger. Alex considers recommending Kevin for a job as a computer specialist once his community service is done. Adam invites Melanie to the party at Victor’s. Victor announces that Newman Enterprises is solely owned by their family. Nick makes an important announcement about his future with Avery.

Nick receives an envelope from the paternity lab. Meanwhile, Phyllis finds birth control pills in Summer’s purse. Phyllis urges her to really think before doing anything. Kyle confides in Jack that he’s growing more attached to Summer, and enjoys spending time with her. Nikki and Victor rent out a room at the club to celebrate Summer’s graduation. After the celebration is over and everyone is gone, Victor surprises Nikki with two tickets for their honeymoon. Later, Nick comes home from Summer’s graduation and rips open the envelope from the paternity lab. Michael and Lauren bring Fen home from graduation to celebrate with Kevin and Paul. Fen tries to act like he’s grateful when Michael and Lauren give him a car. Fen receives a text saying he isn’t invited to the graduation party because he’s a loser.

Nick opens the paternity test results and is shocked to learn that he’s not Summer’s father. When Noah asks him what’s wrong, Nick covers, saying he received an unexpected repair bill from the Underground. Later, Sharon tries to offer help to Nick. Phyllis tells Summer that whatever she has planned with Kyle can wait. Later, Summer and Kyle end their date with a kiss.

Chelsea tells Dylan that she loves him. Dylan later admits that he can’t live in the past, and he does love Chelsea. Meanwhile, Anita considers telling Adam about Chelsea and the baby. Lauren overhears Michael tell Fen that he wants his marriage to work. Michael gets a text from a client, and has to leave. Later, Carmine comes over to visit Lauren. Leslie reads over the letter that Neil wants to post to the blogger. Leslie realizes something the blogger said was in a letter that Rose wrote to Gus. Phyllis and Nick decide to tell Summer the truth about the paternity test. Nick buckles, and ends up telling Summer that he’s worried about her and Kyle. When they’re alone, Phyllis asks Nick what happened.

Traci opens up to Jack about her problems with Steve. Meanwhile, Phyllis gets angry at Nick for not telling Jack the truth about Summer. Devon confronts Lily about her feelings for Tyler. Billy calls Victoria and leaves her a message saying he wants to make things right between them. Later, Billy tells Dylan about his gambling problem and that he’s not going to play cards anymore. Phyllis calls Nick to discuss how to fix things. Phyllis tells Jack that she needs to go to Chicago and the executive that was supposed to go with her is on vacation. When Jack offers to go, Phyllis suggests that Kyle go with her instead. Adam flirts with Melanie until he is distracted by Chelsea. Melanie compliments Chelsea on her designs, and congratulates her on the baby. Chelsea leaves, and Adam informs Melanie that Chelsea is his ex-wife. Billy brings Victoria to see Adam so he can confirm that he’s been gambling. Billy’s plan backfires, as Adam says Billy must have really screwed up if he was willing to use gambling as an excuse. Chelsea arrives at Dylan’s and notices a freshly painted wall this is slightly obscured by a sheet. Dylan distracts her and says she can see what it is after dinner. After dinner, Dylan pulls down the sheet to reveals a surprise for Chelsea. Leslie and Neil inform Avery that Gus left half of his estate to his children and the other half to Rose Turner. Leslie finds a photo of Rose in Gus’s safe deposit box. Leslie thinks Neil should respond to the blogger with a mention of Rose. Lauren and Michael’s date is interrupted by the waiter bringing over a bottle of Champagne. Michael believes that Carmine ordered the bottle.

In Chicago, Kyle and Phyllis go over information for their meeting with a focus group. When Kyle steps out, Phyllis answers his phone when Summer calls. When Summer questions why Phyllis is in Kyle’s room, Phyllis says they are meeting about work, and that Kyle can’t talk because he’s in the shower. Sharon questions what is bothering Nick. Avery overhears, and wonders why Sharon is making herself so available to Nick. Kevin confronts Billy and asks if he’s sleeping with Chloe. Meanwhile, Chloe enjoys telling Adam that Chelsea is engaged to Dylan. Anita disapproves of Chelsea’s engagement to Dylan. Billy leaves Victoria a heartfelt message asking her to let him come home. Chloe accuses Kevin of avoiding the real problem in their marriage which is his stealing. Adam figures out that Sharon still thinks she might have a chance with Nick.

Chloe refuses to fight with Kevin over whether or not she is having an affair with Billy. She sadly tells Kevin that their marriage is falling apart. Chloe tells him she’s going to draw up divorce papers. While Victoria believes that Billy is not having an affair with Chloe, she tells him that he needs to leave. Sharon tells Adam he is fooling himself if he really thinks he has moved on from Chelsea. Sharon visits Cassie’s grave and tells her how much she misses her. Dylan tells Anita how much he loves Chelsea, and how he will provide Chelsea and the baby with everything they need. Avery tells Nick that she thinks he needs some space and that she can’t help him if he won’t open up to her. Adam tries to get to know Melanie but she is reluctant to reveal anything. When she excuses herself, Adam takes the opportunity to go through her phone.

When Tyler tells Neil that he can’t work this way, Neil fires him. Later, Tyler tells Noah that Neil fired him because of his feelings for Lily. Meanwhile, the blogger taunts Neil, asking him what his children and grandchildren would think if they knew what he did. Jack worries about Traci and her marriage, but she doesn’t want to talk about it. Meanwhile, Kyle agrees to have drinks with Phyllis to celebrate his success with the focus groups. Phyllis stresses what little Kyle and Summer have in common. Avery asks Nick if he has changed him mind about telling her what is bothering him. Nick calls Phyllis and leaves her a message that it’s time for them to come clean about Summer.

Billy tells Carmine that Victoria kicked him out for gambling. Carmine hands Billy a business card of a guy looking for a game. Later, Fen tells Carmine to stop texting him. Tyler accuses Devon of getting him fired. Meanwhile, Abby and Alex get into an argument at the police station. Later, Abby offers to buy Tyler a drink when she hears that he lost his job. Michael and Lauren try to enjoy watching a movie together. During dinner, they share a sweet kiss and work on rebuilding their relationship. Jill offers Hilary double her pay to divert projects to her instead of Cane. Lily comes clean with Cane, and tells him that Tyler is the reason she left the campaign. Lily tells Cane that she doesn’t have feelings for Tyler even though he may be attracted to her. Chloe and Kevin inform Delia that they are getting a divorce. Delia is pained by the news, but is assured that it has nothing to do with her. Fen passes money to a dealer in exchange for a bag of pills.

Billy confides in Jack about his gambling. Jack assures him that he will always be there for him. Abby tells Victoria that she hopes she can work things out with Billy. Later, Billy comes to the magazine office to return a doll that Delia left behind. Chloe tells him that she has made a lot of bad decisions, but choosing him to be Delia’s dad was a good one. Adam and Melanie continue to flirt, and eventually make love. Adam tells Melanie that it was his idea to privatize Newman. Melanie doesn’t think it will be long before Victor is working for Adam. Adam heads to the shower and overhears Melanie make an important phone call. Dylan asks Chelsea to move in with him. Chelsea admits to Chloe that she hates that the best relationship she has ever had is based on a lie. Meanwhile, Dylan reunites with his old friend Stitch. Phyllis succeeds in keeping Kyle and Summer apart by asking them to help her plan Jack’s surprise party.

Meanwhile, Billy confides to Jack about Victoria leaving, and his inability to quit gambling. Avery thinks Phyllis lied about the paternity test, but soon realizes that it was Nick’s doing.

Tyler tells Leslie that Neil fired him. Neil and Tyler plead their side to Leslie, who ultimately agrees that Neil did the right thing. Leslie tells them that Rose died six years ago of a stroke. Neil receives another notice on his phone from the blogger. Chloe tries to cheer up Delia, but the only thing that puts a smile on her face is Kevin coming through the door. Michael tears up the divorce papers, and leads Lauren into the bedroom. Fen comes to see Carmine with the hopes of scoring some drugs. Carmine turns Fen down and calls Lauren to warn her, but she hits the ‘ignore’ button on her phone. Carmine finds Fen passed out in the alley with a bag of white powder next to him. Kyle admits to Abby that he shouldn’t have ended things with Summer, but doesn’t think calling her is a good idea. Abby thinks Kyle should tell Jack about the kiss he shared with Phyllis. When Jack overhears Kyle arguing with Abby. Kyle is forced to come clean about the kiss. Courtney tells Kyle that Summer will come home if he tells her that he’s sorry. Meanwhile, Jeff wants the truth out of Anita about whose baby Chelsea is carrying. When Michael and Lauren rush to Fen’s hospital room, Michael accuses Carmine of giving Fen the drugs. Lily and Cane head over to the mansion and discuss the postcards with Esther and Jill. Chloe and Devon join the group as they prepare to welcome Katherine home. Jill gets a call from Murphy who apologizes for being late and asks everyone to stay put until he arrives. Victor mentions that Katherine’s trip sounded like the kind of adventure you wait your whole life for. While Nick prepares a romantic evening to welcome Avery back home, Sharon calls him to say that Faith wants to see him. After the three of them enjoy playing games together, Faith falls asleep and Sharon enjoys the happy sight of the family she longs to have with Nick. Avery finds the note that Nick left. She grabs her keys and leaves. Billy pulls out all the stops to prove to Victoria that he is committed to their relationship. Victoria is amused by his efforts, but wonders if this is really going to change anything. Billy asks her to let him make his case, and promises she won’t regret it.

Jill questions what Katherine’s first husband, Gary Reynolds, has to do with this. Chloe mentions the necklace in the sketch and how she has never seen it before. Esther informs them that the necklace was from Katherine’s first husband, Gary. Jack tells Summer that her going to Georgia for a while to see Phyllis is a good idea. Adam makes an important call to his mystery investor. Dylan inspects the bookcase that Billy made and jokingly says that he should start over. Billy takes pride in the work that he completed with Delia. Chelsea is confident that helping Adam get the rape charges dropped was a good idea and that he’ll still keep his distance and stay out of her life. Later, Chelsea and Dylan take Connor in for his check-up. The doctor informs them that Connor is likely to develop Retinitis Pigmentosa and could eventually go blind. The doctor shocks Chelsea when he informs them that the disease is inherited from a parent.

Jack and Victor meet to discuss their next steps with Newman Enterprises. Jack offers to find someone that Victor and Adam approve of to buy him out of Newman. In return, Jack asks that Victor give Adam a break. Victor suspects Jack wants something else. Noah and Courtney bump into each other in Chancellor Park. When Summer arrives, everyone jumps out and yells surprise. Summer opens up to Nick and admits that this birthday is hard because it reminds her of how everything was different for them a year ago. Paul obtains the suit that Fen was wearing the night that Carmine died. Paul tells Christine that if there are traces of Carmine’s blood on it and gun powder, then it puts Fen at the murder scene. Neil is shocked that Devon is being charged with trashing a hotel room in Las Vegas. Devon insists that he was never in Vegas and claims that someone has stolen his identity. Kyle finds the Bonaventure file in Victor’s office and starts photographing the pages, when Noah walks in and catches him.

Victor interrupts their argument and asks them to research all the companies that Newman-Chancellor owns and see which are worth keeping. Faith tells Nick and Sharon that they should all celebrate Christmas together. Billy surprises Victoria with a tiny Christmas tree. She tells him it’s perfect and wraps her arms around him. They decorate the tree and put Delia’s ornament on top. She pulls him into her arms and promises that they will get through this.

Leslie struggles with the idea of the big family Christmas as she and Neil have dinner with his family. Adam and Chelsea celebrate Connor’s first Christmas. They are interrupted by Chloe who is there with presents for Connor and fabric samples for Chelsea. When Chloe leaves, Chelsea tells Adam that she wants her to be Connor’s godmother. Meanwhile, Victor gives Victoria shares of Newman-Chancellor for her to give to Johnny. She is touched by his gesture and points out that he loves Johnny as family even though he is not biologically his grandson. Victor tells her that he sees what she is trying to do and he doesn’t plan on ever accepting Dylan as a part of their family. Leslie works on Christmas to help get the charges against Devon dropped. Alex tells her to go home and enjoy the day. Later, Neil asks why Leslie has been avoiding him. Jack does his best to try and distract Billy by giving him gifts for ice fishing. Billy confides in Jack that he saw Delia by the tree. A plumbing problem at the Coffee House causes Dylan to be stuck there until someone shows up to fix it. Avery is determined to not let this ruin their Christmas plans and she brings Christmas dinner to him.

Meanwhile, Victor reveals to Adam that a witness saw the accident and that the car involved was an SUV identical to Adam’s. Lily and Cane receive her test results and plan for their future. Without thinking, he puts the camcorder down and heads upstairs. Kevin explains to Paul his theory about the license plates from the driver who hit Delia. Later, Michael and Paul discuss the night that Carmine died in the alley. Jack updates Sharon on Phyllis’ condition. Summer admits to Esmeralda that she took all three energy pills. Sharon arrives at the shoot and can’t find Summer anywhere. Summer is trying to catch her breath in the stairwell and calls Fen.
