Chantal Thuy

Chantal Thuy is a Canadian-American actress best known for her appearances in the series Black Lightning (2018) and Magnum P.I. (2021). She has also received awards for her supporting role in the film Ru (2023). Chantal Thuy was born in Montreal, Canada, to Vietnamese boat refugee parents. She speaks English, French, and Vietnamese and completed her acting training at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York. Her professional career includes television roles, film appearances, and theater productions, including a Broadway engagement. In 2024, she won a Canadian Screen Award for her supporting role in the drama Ru.
